Chapter 3

Did she really just fall from the sky? ....No way. She must've stumbled upon something and fell down to the crater resulting in her being unconscious. Yeah. That's it. But then again.... why would she even be around here in the first place?

Y/N kept thinking to herself as he piggybacked the girl who was in the middle of the crater. Everything just happened too fast in front of his eyes making him unable to comprehend.

Aish, why am i thinking about all of this. I should be focusing on saving her first. I'll think about those stuff later.

He kept walking bravely despite the darkness of the forest surrounding him. It's a good thing that the night sky was assisting him, or else he wouldn't have gotten there in the first place. Well, his phone's flashlight is mainly doing its job.

"Nngh..." He heard the woman groan on his back making him turn back in a glance.

I didn't see her face clearly but.... i think she's older than me. I think. I hope her injury's not too severe....

Y/N kept walking until he eventually reached the side door to his campus, opening it to a dark void with little illumination.

This place's too dark... i can't even see anything.

He then flashed his flashlight inside pointing towards his surrounding searching for the direction of the place where they use to take care of sick students.

After much walking, he finally reached the place making him let out a sigh, though not yet relieved.

I hope it's not locked.

He shut his eyes as he reached for the door knob praying for it to open, which it did.

Great!

He walked inside not thinking whether there was anybody inside or not and placed the girl on top of the bed. He then sat down to take a breather after walking for what felt like miles.

He decided to look outside the window trying to see if there's anything outside he could discover. Nothing. It was only darkness.

What the hell is going on? Did the power plant fail?

He kept staring outside looking at nothing. He got his phone up as he typed in Wonyoung's number to call her. It ended with a beep making him groan as he looked at his signal.

No signal. Damn it. He cursed at his phone before putting it back onto the table.

Or could it be because.....

He turned slowly to the figure laying down on the bed.

Nah. It couldn't be. Oh right! Is she hurt?

He shone his flashlight to her body to scan for injuries.

No injuries..... doesn't seem like she's in pain either. That's good.

Just then, the power plant turned on again as he looked up at the lights and back outside to see that everything was back to normal.

Now i'm crazy for you, crazy falling~

Y/N's ringtone echoed through the room as he looked over to the spot he had left it at. His phone showed Wonyoung's id caller.

Y/N?! Are you safe?! Are you hurt?! Where are you right now?!! Wonyoung asked with her voice panicking.

"I should've been the one asking you that. Are you at home now?"

I am. I wanted to go out to search for you since i was worried, but my mother wouldn't let me! Are you safe?! I heard it was near the university!

Y/N glanced over his back looking at the woman still laying down unconscious. He pondered on whether to tell her about his situation, but then he heard the bed squeaking making him turn around to see the girl about to wake up.

"I'll call you back later."

*beep*

Where am i? Eunbi thought as she looked at the ceiling. The whole place seemed foreign to her as panic's slowly starting to fill within her. She turned her head to the right seeing Y/N who wad staring back at her making her guard up.

"Who are you?!" Eunbi screamed backing away from Y/N as he was startled due to the woman's sudden scream.

"Calm down. I just wanna help you." Y/N said calmly.

"Where did you bring me?!"

Wait. I felt like i was falling earlier.... am i on Earth right now? Oh no.... i'm gonna be in a lot of trouble for this.

"You're at S University. What were you doing in the middle of the forest? Anyway, what were you even thinking going to the crater? It could've been dangerous!!" Y/N said to her with a worried look on his face.

Crater? Ah.... that must be where i landed on. Wait.

"Was there anyone with me when you found my body earlier?!" Eunbi asked worriedly.

"No. Just you. Wait, you mean there were others with you?? Oh My God....." Y/N rubbed his temple as Eunbi's slowly starting to panic.

Calm down, Eunbi-ya. Calm down.... let's think straight.

The atmosphere fell silent as Eunbi's thinking of a plan.

Right. I'll look for my sisters first, so that we could return back to the castle. Okay. Sounds like a plan.

"I thank you for your aid, but i think it's best for me to go soon." Eunbi said as she got up from the bed.

"Woah, so soon? I mean, you just fell to the crater. You could be injured right now."

"I'm fine, i just- ah!" Eunbi grunted after feeling like her ankle had been sprained.

"What's wr- ah. Your leg." Y/N said helping her sit up on the bed. "I'll tape 'em up for you."

"Oh it's fine, you don't need t-" Eunbi stopped mid-sentence after realizing that something crucial from her is missing.

Wait. Why can't i use my recovery magic to heal my ankle? Something's wrong.

"What do you mean i don't need to? It'll get worse. Come on, just stay still." Y/N then walked over to the shelfs to look for the tapes. Meanwhile Eunbi focuses on a vase near her and tries to lift it with her hands from her spot.

It's not working.... looks like my mana is drained out.

Eunbi started thinking of a way to get the source as Y/N walked back to her now with the equipments he needed. She looked at him carefully treating her injuries.

He's... not as bad as Minju pictured. I thought humans were more violent than i thought.

Y/N slowly rolled the tape around her ankle as he reached for the scissors.

Humans aren't as bad as Minju said before... this one is behaving nice to me. What made Minju think that humans are evil beings? Wait. I shouldn't be thinking of this right now.

Eunbi tries to think a lot of her chants and spells to see if she could try and get some source. Her mind then went to one of the chants her father had told her in case of emergency.

Should i do it? But that'll mean....

"There. All done." Y/N said after doing his finishing touches on his masterpiece.

I'll do it when necessary. And now is not that time.

"Thank you for this. I owe you one i guess."

"Don't be. By the way can you walk home alone? If it's not far then i can help you walk to your home, or the least i could do is maybe call a taxi."

Home? I don't really have any place here either.... should i seek shelter at his home?

"Hello? Noona? Are you there?" Y/N waved his hand in front of his face making her thoughts broke.

"Ng? Ah, sorry. About that...." Eunbi hesitated.

"Can i stay at yours for a few days?"
