Chapter 15

Y/N was loving the softness of his couch; all of the walking had made his legs a little tired, and nothing would make him happier than a good night's sleep. His eyes became heavy as he sank deeper into the piece of furniture, and just as he was ready to fall asleep, he heard someone whisper his name.

"Y/N." Eunbi called him, telling him to come with her to the kitchen. He obliged, and proceeded to approach the eldest.

"What is it?"

"I know this might be too late for me to ask, but where will they sleep in?"

His stream of thinking abruptly came to a halt. He hadn't given any thought to the fact that five people were going to be living in his two-bedroom apartment. Y/N returned his gaze to the couch, concluding that sleeping on the couch last night wasn't all that horrible.

"Okay. Noona. You and Sakura will sleep in my room. Yuri and Minju can sleep in my sister's room. Does that sound good?"

"It does. But that means you'll be sleeping on the couch again."

"Yup."

"Y/N, It's already very kind of you to let us use your place for shelter, but we can't possibly let you sleep on such a thing." Eunbi said as she swung the ladle in her hand. "Please. Use the bed. Let me sleep on the couch."

"Noona, Haven't we discussed this before? It's okay for me to sleep on it. It's not like I'll get sick from it."

"No. I won't allow you this time. You should sleep in your own room. Let me sleep on the couch."

Eunbi approached Y/N, leading him to take a few steps back before hitting the fridge. The girl had him trapped between herself and the fridge, causing Y/N to become flustered by the scenario.

"O-okay then how about I sleep in my room, but on the mattress. Sounds good, doesn't it?"

"That doesn't make me satisfied at all. You're still sleeping on a hard floor. In that case, I'll sleep on the mattress." Eunbi turned around and continued to cook for her sisters.

"Noona, is this really worth arguing about? I can't let you sleep on the floor, what if you get sick?"

"You're talking as if you won't."

When Y/N continued to argue with Eunbi, he became more puzzled. The woman in front of him clearly did not want to end the debate with him sleeping on the couch.

"Hey, are you two fighting?" Sakura came after observing the two, worrying that there might be problems.

"Oh we're not. It's just that Y/N is a stubborn guy."

"Stubborn? Kkura-ya. Listen to this. Is it really wrong for me to offer myself to sleep on the mattress?"

"He can't do that, right? It's his place, after all. He's already nice enough to let us use his place. I don't want to burden him anymore, considering that our sisters have come."

"Noona I told you, it's-"

"Ah~ I'm having a headache." She complained about their neverending bickering. "Look. Why don't you and Eunbi-unnie sleep on your bed, Y/N? It's big enough for the both of you, so there should be no problem. I'll be the one sleeping on the mattress, instead. Okay? Nice. Problem solved."

She walked away, without even letting them have any say in it.

Y/N took some more time to relax on the couch while the sisters were talking about what they plan on doing next, when one of them said.

"I'm starting to feel sleepy, unnie." The youngest sister said to the rest, before they called it a day. Y/N then escorted them to his sister's room, leaving them and Eunbi to talk for a moment. Sakura on the other hand excused herself and went to Y/N's room.
