After spending quite some time in the wild, the sisters had gotten back to 'their' castle. Jiwoo did not say any words and stormed through the halls, leaving the two in the dust.
"Unnie!" She did not mind Heejin's call, and went straight towards her room. She laid down, having felt pressured on herself with the thing that was on her mind recently.
'I need to tell someone... But who?' She thought as she tossed her body on the bed.
Then she remembered, her sisters had plans to 'visit' some of their neighboring kingdoms to send a statement about them.
Jiwoo was well aware that her sisters would never use diplomatic means to build relationships with anyone. With everything she'd seen so far, violence would always follow them.
She felt encouraged to seek help. As much as she disliked her uncle, Jiwoo recognised that what they were doing was wrong.
The young lady kept wondering what she could do to stop her sisters. She needed somebody, anyone who could compete with Heejin and Yves, and her answer came when she thought about them.
"The Fromis princesses!" Jiwoo got up from the bed. She grabbed a piece of paper and began to write a message for the other kingdom. If there was ever a chance, this was it. She couldn't let their reign of terror last much longer. She knew it was wrong and wanted to make it right.
"and... done." Jiwoo carefully rolled up the letter and sealed it. She chanted a spell before a pigeon landed outside her window. She tied the letter to the pigeon's back, taking care not to injure it in the process. She then patted the bird on the head.
"I'm counting on you to deliver it when we arrive there. Thank you... now fly! Go!" She basically yeeted the pigeon away, as it struggled to keep its balance before slowly getting into rhythm. She apologized to the bird, watching it fly away towards the neighboring kingdom.
Just then, a knock went to her door which startled her.
"Yes! Who is it?!"
"U-Unnie, it's me... Heejin. Can I... come in?"
Heejin? She didn't hear what I was doing just now, right?
"Come in!" Heejin slowly opened the door, closing it lightly behind her as she kept her head hung low, as if feeling guilty of whatever she could've done.
"You weren't eavesdropping on my door just now, did you?"
"N-No! Why would I do that?"
"Nothing. I just.... Nevermind. So, what business do you have here in my room?" Well, Eunbi's room to be precise. At least it used to be.
"I... I'm sorry, unnie. I'm sorry by the way I acted towards you earlier. What the King had said ticked me off, and I couldn't control my emotions when he said it. I'm sorry if I seem like I was lashing at you. I just want you to know that I'm not mad at you or anything."
Jiwoo felt shocked by her apology, never in her wildest dreams that she'd come to her room just to apologize, considering how she has been behaving these last few years. She could only chuckle, making Heejin confused at her reaction.
"Why are you laughing?" She asked.
"I-It's nothing. I never thought that you could be cute like this, Heejin-ah." Her compliment made her flustered, as her ears were slowly getting red from the embarrassment she'd gotten.
"Wha-"
"Then again, you were always cute. Even though you'd always act as if you were annoyed, you're still cute. Anyways, I forgive you." She caught Heejin off guard by pulling her into a hug, as she returned the warmth Jiwoo was giving.
