Rainy days had fallen on the kingdom of Promise. People were out and about with their hoods pulled up over their heads, going about their daily lives despite the gloomy weather.

Promise is the name of a neighboring kingdom of Izland. Rumors of a power shift in Izland spread like wildfire, alerting nearby kingdoms of the situation. The king of promise assured its own citizens that that was not the case, and that they have nothing to worry about. To further improve the citizens' wariness, he promised that he'd get to the bottom of it, and seek the truth for himself.

But of course, the king wouldn't want to risk it. He increased the security around his domain. The nine princesses of Promise were also on guard in case the rumors were true, and that they were aiming for the other kingdoms next.

Guards were stationed at their posts, armed to the teeth with swords and spears. The rain didn't hinder the men from doing their job, making rounds around the perimeter and keeping an eye out for trouble.

"How many guards does King Saewon want around the main gate? There must be thirty of us here," one of the guards said. Guards were stopping carriages along the kingdom's main entrance. Everyone had to show their faces and what they were bringing into town.

"Don't question it. King Saewon knows what's right."

"I hope so. I got a bad feeling about tonight. Something just feels off, though I can't point out what it is." Just then, three hooded figures on horseback appeared over the horizon. They rode fast, their aura screamed trouble as they approached the kingdom.

"Stop!" Guards on the high towers warned them.

The people in black did not take heed of their warning. The figure in the middle whipped their horse and charged first towards the gate.

"Stop or we will shoot!"

*stomp* *stomp*

"They're not stopping!"

*chuckle* *chuckle*

"Then shoot them down!" The archers ready their arrows, taking aim at the lead rider. They waited for the lead's commands, before firing at will.

"Ready... Aim... Fire!!!" The arrows were released from their bows. Dozens of sharp arrowheads flew through the air, aimed squarely at the charging riders.

"Pathetic." The lead rider dismounted her horse. She raised her right hand, opening her palms towards the incoming danger. All of the guards' arrows began to slow down before coming to a full stop, mid air.

"You people have no manners, you know that? Is this how you always treat your guests?" One by one, the arrows fell to the ground.

"Let's stop here. Don't want to get any scratches on our horses now do we?" The other two dismounted their horses and started walking to the entrance.

"T-they stopped the arrows!?"

"Are they enchantresses!?" They pulled their hoods down, revealing their faces. It's none other than the three who brought down the throne of Izland.

"Guards! Form a line!"

The guards started to form a defensive line in front of the gate. Shields were up and their swords were pointing towards the walking intruders

The commander slammed his spear to the ground. "Who are you!? State your business with the kingdom!"

"We're The Loona sisters. I'm sure you've at least heard of us."

"We demand for King Saewon's presence," Heejin said.

The commander chuckled. "We won't allow threats to get past us."
