Chapter 2

The situation is worsening. The enemies are barraging us with their attacks. I saw two of my sisters are already weakened because of them.

We've almost run out of mana to continue to fight what looks like an endless waves of dark magicians. That is until he suggested something crazy.

"Girls! Take my energy!" The unknown guy yells out loud.

Thinking it is our last resort, my sisters and I gathered around him. After taking his energy we managed to create a barrier and take shelter behind it.

We kept holding on until the enemies are exhausted of their powers.

Silence consumed the battlefield as we saw all of them have fallen to the ground. We did it, we have finally won.

But our happiness is short lived when I saw his body fell to the ground. I immediately ran to what I only can describe as his lifeless body.

"Oppa please don't go away!!" I plead to him. But he's already starting to lose his consciousness.

"Oppa!" Yuri woke up feeling like her body was on fire. She felt relief when she sees the sun is out from her window.

She poured herself a glass of water on her bedside table before gulping it down to quench her thirst.

"Oppa!!!"

The thought about the dream suddenly hit her as she placed down her glass.

'Who was that man? Why am I calling him oppa? ....What is up with that dream?'

She shook her head and heads out of her room. She goes down the long flight of stairs, heading to the dining room.

"Hello my daughter, good morning." Her father greeted her.

"It's a bad morning appa!" She yanks the chair making it shrieks loudly.

"Yah, Yuri! Manners!" The eldest daughter yelled at her. The youngest responded with a teasing facial expression of her sister, making the king and the rest of his daughters snickered.

"Appa! You're not supposed to encourage her!"

"Let it go Eunbi. It's normal for your sister to be grumpy in the morning."

"B-but appa!" The eldest, Eunbi left unsatisfied when she got stopped by her father. "You know how Yuri is unnie. Must be another bad dream." Minju stroke Yuri's hair.

"Sakura unnie still hasn't come out from her room?" Yuri looks at the empty chair across from her.

"You know her. She likes to be alone." Eunbi said.

The four of them continues to eat their first meal of the day in peace. That is until something unusual interrupts them.

They suddenly feel like they've been shot through their chests with something that they can't explain.

"W-what is that appa!?" Eunbi asked The King. "T-They are getting stronger..." He waved his hand to call one of his nearby knights.

"Tighten the security around the castle and have the mages enhance their senses."

"Yes My King."

The guard proceeds to execute his given task right away. His daughters' faces are still full of worries from the heavy uneasy feeling that they just experienced.
