Chapter 14: i see you

The next day was the day Jake and irina became one of the people. Irina was more excited because she'll be in her ma'vi body permanently forever. Tsu'tey carefully draws the lines on her body while he stares in her eyes, he was mesmerized it was so hard for him to just kiss her right now. Irina stands up when he's finished "today is the day.. your family is here as well," she gasps "you serious?" He nods he grabs her hand "it is time, come," her leads her up the spiral staircase as everyone turn their attention to her and Jake.

Tsu'tey brings her towards Eytukan while mo'at and my mother walks beside him, "as the son and daughter of eywa... warriors of the omaticaya, you are now one of the people," he places his hand on jake's shoulder as Tsu'tey got in front irina and placed his hands on her with a proud smile on his face. Her family places their hands on her while the rest of the omaticaya people do the same, as it ends mo'at placed her hand on irina's arm "tonight you will officially come back to your body you were born in, are you ready?" She asks I nodded "yes more then ready," iris hugs irina.

"You'll get to be with us forever," she says I smiled.

Tonight was the night, irina was in her human body, she puts her face mask on as Tsu'tey flew on his ikran tot he mountain the station was on, once he landed he waited outside for her, norm was in avatar body as he was allowed to come and witness this event, irina he needed to, he's always wanted to observe and learn their culture. Irina steps outside and Tsu'tey's face was unreadable, irina frowned rubbing her arm nervously. He kneels down "you are very small," he says she groans "that's the first thing you say about my sky person body," he chuckles "you are still beautiful irina," he said softly, irina grows a smile on her face.

Tsu'tey picks her up bridal style walking to his ikran, he mounts on his ikran and flew to the tree of souls. Irina accidentally fell asleep in his arms because of smooth the flight was. Tsu'tey arrived as the people sat down criss crossed with their cues connected tot he ground below them, Tsu'tey looks down noticing I am asleep so he shakes me till I open my eyes "we are irina, wake up," he whispers she whines making smile he places me down, my family walks to me looking at me in human body for the first time. "Why are sky people so tiny?" iirin asks, I laugh "my daughter, you've came along way, it is time for you to come home," my father said I nodded mo'at came to me , telling me to get undressed for the ceremony. She wraps leaves around my private areas so I won't be fully exposed.

Tsu'tey waited for me, he picks me up gently as Jake carrier my avatar body to the front. "Tsu'tey?" He looks down "yes?" He answered "will this work?" I ask he looks at her for a second before nodding his head "yes it will irina" he didn't want her panicking or to fear, Jake places her Navi body down and Tsu'tey places her down, he sits beside her as they begin the trial for her to go through the eye of eywa and to return. The people begin praying to eywa as irina felt her soul leave from out of her body, whispers all around as the people's voice begin to go mute.

"My daughter... you've come home... have been expecting you my child," eywa says with a hint of happiness....

"You're path is not yet finished.. for this only the beginning...."

Everything felt like it muted within a blink of an eye, her soul dropped down with a flash, mo'at stopped the people, as everyon went silent waiting for something to happen Tsu'tey took off irina's face mask revealed her whole face, he kissed the top of her human head gently as a form of goodbye that body,before hovering over he Navi body anxiously hoping for her to wake up. "Did it work?" Jake asks nervously, iris and and irrin's heartbeats were off the charts right now, this was the scariest moment because wha rid she doesn't wake up? If she didn't pass through the eye of eywa? It all changed she finally opens her eyes.

Tsu'tey let out a deep breath letting go of his worries "irina you scared me to death," he said she smiled "I'm sorry," she giggles, the people begin to cheer and hoot in happiness for the success of her transfer.

all of the people partied and celebrated the young hunters success, norm and Grace were here, Jake talked irina into listening to Grace on what happened to her and decided to put aside. Jake was sitting on the rock telling jokes with the other warriors. I danced with neytiri and my sisters, Tsu'tey sat down and of course started a drinking challenge with Jake which Jake accepted and they decided to have fun, irina watches them as she danced in shock, this was her first time ever seeing Tsu'tey being nice to Jake and actually get along.

While irina dance she giggles when iris pulls her around, Tsu'tey looks up to watch irina dance, she was an amazing dancer that's for sure. Neytiri decided to run up to Jake to get him to dance so irina runs over, "dance with me you fool," she grabbed his arm nearly yanking him off the rock Tsu'tey smirks "why you have to pull me like that irina, you know I don't dance," he said irina giggles "you are dancing with me Tsu'tey, it sky turn to give you payback," he shakes his head chuckling. Jake grabbed Grace as norm got pulled by iris.

Everyone begin to dance with each other, irina smile as she dance with Tsu'tey, he stares into her gleaming eyes as he twirled around making her laugh,he grabs her hand "come on" he said she follows him as they sneak out of the celebration. He took her the tree of voices, it was beautiful. "Why did you take me to the tree of voices Tsu'tey?" I ask "no reason, I just wanted it to be me and you," he said, I smiled "you are now of the people irina.. you may carve your bow from the great tree," he said, I lend my hand out for the atikorina to float on my hand. "You may choose.. a mate," he said looking down she glances at his back.

"Iy'rulo is a great hunter" he brings up she snarls "not interested" she said, "m'bak is an excellent healer," he says but she shakes her head "don't want nun of them, I don't want nobody.." his heart sank as he looked back her at her "because known of their could be as better as you," I said he sighed, "you know we can't," he said I nodded "I know.. and that means," I walk in front of him "I will not have a mate, if it's not you I don't want anyone else," I said. "Irina I don't want you to not be happy, I don't like that," he said he places his hand on her waist which made her get nervous.

"Tsu'tey, I don't see myself with nobody else, even though it hurts I can't go through with mating with someone else," I said, Tsu'tey licks his lips, arguing with his own thoughts, she didn't want to mate with someone..someone who isn't him. Tsu'tey gently grabs the back of her neck "I see you ma'irina" he whispers "I see you Ma'tsu'tey," she whispers back.
