Chapter 10: rekindle

After leaving the avatar body Grace has been questioning where she went and all she told her was somewhere and the avatar is safe she didn't have time for her rants because irina already was angry at her for the secrets but she didn't want to expose her right now.

The next morning my family were getting ready to go meet omaticaya clan, I was excited I grabbed my little sisters hand, "make sure you keep the clan safe.. I won't be gone for to long," my father says to the warrior, he nodded then irina and her family begin to leave. Irina just hope this goes well and doesn't end up in a fight, she doesn't know exactly how long they've been like this. "You sure this is going to work irina?" Iris asks, irina nodded reassuring her it will. Once she she sees hometree she knew she was there, I mean it's tall you wouldn't miss it.

We cross the bridge but was stopped by warriors who were watching the entrance I hoped down and they recognized me so they backed away, irina begins to get nervous but she decides to proceed anyways, soon enough some people gathered around whispering and chattering. I bring them upfront to where eytukan was, Tsu'tey turned his head and his eyes go wide, mo'at gasped along with eytukan "I see you, oel'eytukan," I said he nodded his head Tsu'tey walked down "how did you find them?" Eytukan asked "they found me.. That is why I was gone yesterday," I tell him "long time no see brother," my father says Eytukan chuckles walking down.

Irina took this as a sign of greatness as mo'at smiled proudly at me I walked to her "I knew you would follow the path eywa told you to go," I nodded, Tsu'tey look between me and my family then his eyes got wide, Jake and neytiri came around and he instantly hugged me "jeez you scared me irina, where did you go?" Jake asks I chuckle "missed me already? I only been gone for a day," I smirked he shakes his head laughing, neytiri comes to me "this your family?" She asked I nodded "Grace wasn't lying" Jake said with a frown, i snarled "I don't want to talk to her! She's the reason I'm in this situation, she took my life away from me," I said.

I turned my head and Tsu'tey was gone, i frown where did he go? I thought, iirin runs to me "sister I want to go play," she said, "go play iirin" I said she runs to the other kids. It seems to be going well as Eytukan and my father converse catching up on the years, I was happy things went well but I want to find Tsu'tey. I begin to run up the spiral staircase to see if he would be up by the ikran's and he was, "Tsu'tey? Are you-are you mad at me?" I ask nervously, he probably is because I was gone all day yesterday when I'm supposed to be training.

He turned around with tears in his eyes, my heart was sinking when I seen him crying, I walked to him "why are you crying Tsu'tey?" I ask he shakes his head, "Tsu'tey please tell me," I begged, "I... this whole time you were telling the truth, I thought you were lying.. I finally remember that you were there at the school, we-I.. I'm sorry for how I treated you irina," he says "no it's okay, it's okay, I'm not mad at you," i said "no! It was wrong.. I should've known," he said he wipes his tears, omaticaya's greatest warrior, he was actually crying, I mean I always seen the mean and angry Tsu'tey not this one.

He got closer to me "I still don't remember me Tsu'tey, I'm still trying to get it back, they took it from me... I was an experiment," his frowns into an angry expression "they what?!" I gulped "I was an experiment to the sky people, they used me as a test subject, I never was a sky person I was born Navi," I said he snarled "they should pay for what they did! It's already bad enough Eytukan let Jake in here and Grace," he said "Grace knew about me, everything, I want my memories back," I said, "she was just here earlier, I believe she is coming back today," i scoff.

I begin to turn around but he grabbed my arm stopping me "ma'irina, you don't remember anything?us?" He asks I shake my head "no... mo'at and my mother told me we were very close but I'm still confused on how close they mean," he sighs before smiling "you actually spoke Navi right," i hiss pushing him as he laughed a little, "will you still be able to be here? Now that you reunited with family.. you will go," he said, "I can see what I can do Tsu'tey, I actually don't want to leave yet," I said, "I want to take you somewhere, I think it will bring everything back," he said I nodded.

After a little while my father and Eytukan got s long very well, while I was walking iirin ran to me and jumped I caught her and lifted her up. "I want to stay," she says I chuckle "I will see if you can but I have training to do iirin," I said, she looks at Tsu'tey before giggling, "can I have that necklace?" She asks him I laugh "no you can't iirin have his necklace," I said Tsu'tey chuckles.
