kalynn was in the middle of a lecture when it happened.
she was taking notes, sat in the center of the room beside mina (they'd recently started sitting next to each other after getting closer through the whole cat thing. they were both secretly happy, as they'd often share notes) with a blue gel pen. she jotted something down, feeling her phone buzz in her pocket.
she ignored it.
then, after what had to of been another minute or so, her phone buzzed again. once again, kalynn ignored it in favour of scrawling down another sentence. she could check it after class.
but, the buzzes got more persistent.
this caught the attention of mina, who glanced over at kalynn curiously. she raised an eyebrow in question. kalynn waved it off quickly, the motion making the dark blue ink smudge against white paper. it left a small splotch on kalynn's skin, much to her annoyance.
buzz. buzz.
mina set her own pen down, turning more obviously than subtly to kalynn. she raised an eyebrow once more, hearing the other girls phone buzz again.
