6 YEARS LATER

"Granny! Granny!" I watched him run towards the direction of a woman. She was watering the flowers and then opened the curtain to let the sun lights.

I heard her laugh, "What is it, Seojun-ah?"

She let the child sit on her lap. She brushed his soft straight hair and stared at him while smiling.

"Mommy won't let me eat the brown candy." he whined.

I rolled my eyes. I removed the kitchen gloves off my hand and proceed to get out of the kitchen room.

"It's chocolate, Seo-jun." she corrected him.

"Sorry, granny. I forgot. It's kinda hard to say the word, so I prefer calling it brown candy." he giggled. She laughed along with him.

"It's okay. But, you had one already earlier right?"

"Yes, grandma. But I still want more of it. Can I have another one please?" Seo-jun used his cuteness to fool her grandmother.

"Okay. But, don't tell your Mom about this okay? It's a secret between you and granny. Alright, honey?" she whispered.

"Yes, granny!" Seo-jun leaned closer whispered back.

"Mom!" I furrowed my eyebrows. They both looked at me in shock. I snatched the chocolate that Seo-jun was holding and put it in my pocket.

"Oops, we got caught!" Mom said to Seo-jun.

"Mom, I told you not to give him more sweets. I thought we talked about this already?" I looked at my Mom.

"How can I resist his cuteness? He's too cute!" Mom rolled her eyes at me. I smiled.

"I know. He definitely looks like me." I smiled proudly and pulled Seo-jun's hand.

"I don't think so." Mom looked at me with a meaningful stare.

I scoffed. I kneeled to be in the same height with Seo-jun. I brushed his hair with my fingers.

"Seo-jun, I told you not to eat chocolates anymore right? I already gave you one, isn't that enough?" I calmly talked to him.

He looked down and fidgeted his fingers. "Yes, Mommy. I'm sorry. I just wanted more of it."

I smiled and pinch his nose.

"It's not good to eat too much sweets. Do you want your teeth to be broken? If that happens, we will go to your dentist and get you checked. Do you want that?"

He quickly shook his head. "No, Mommy... I don't want to go to dentist. I hate there."

He crossed his arms and pouted. I stood up and smiled.

"See? Then, be contented on what I give you okay? You can eat one again in another day."

His face lights up. "Really?"

"Yes! That's a promise, baby." I kissed his forehead.

"Is Jae-sung awake already?" I asked. I was about to go to his room when he appeared out of nowhere. He's scratching his eyes.
