Soulmates are a funny thing. Words on your skin that match another. Aife was no different. The words written on her wrist are 'Two Demons' in Arabic.

Pain. The pain was all Aife has ever known. Whether it was hers or someone else's it was always just pain. Trained since birth to kill and learn Aife never got a brake. If she got one question wrong on a test that they gave to her, she was cut.
Trained to learn fast and kill faster. Aife never has known a home.
That was until she was rescued.
Rescued by Nick Fury, she was finally free. Fury and Aife grew close. So close that Fury adopted her. At age 14 and 9 months, Aife was finally free.
But Hydra wanted her back. For safety, Nick sent her to another universe giving her a home there.
The different universe was called DC by the Avengers and those select few who also knew. Most don't know about the other world. Only Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Phil Coulson and the Avengers. Fury, calling in a favour from Aquaman asked if Aife could stay in their world. Aquaman, after hearing Aife's story, agreed for her to stay and requested if she could pick a city for her to live in.
Aife picked Paris, it is one of the few cities she had never been to before. Moving into a house there, she started a new life. When Aife was 15 she was placed in a school called Francoise Dupont High School.
