This is a short one, I was going to write it last chapter but I lost motivation. Also, I briefly mentioned how Peter started to know Tony in this world and I was thinking about writing about it. Mainly when I get writer's block for this story which happens more than one would think.

Aife and Damian sat at the back of a café. Damian wore a hoodie and sunglasses not to attract attention. Aife wore one of Damian's hoodies. Soon a 3rd party joined the table. "Why have you called me here Aife? And why is Damian here?" Arthur asks his niece. "A couple of reasons. One, one of the things you need to know is that he is directly involved—two, emotional support," Aife said as she turned to face him. Arthur looked confused at his niece. His eyes went between the two. "We're soulmates Curry," Damian said. Aife sighed. Damian was never one to beat around the bush. And she had agreed to let him say it. She looked up at her uncle and saw him frozen in place. "Really?" was all he got out. Aife extended her wrist. Her golden mark is on full display. Arthur analysed it for a bit before softly smiling. "I'm happy for the two of you," He said as he looked at the two. This meant a lot to Aife. Her uncle was the first in the DC world to let her in. He was also the first Uncle she had. Well, technically Thor is the first uncle from birth. But everything is so messed up. "The other thing is.."

Aife explained everything going on with Loki and her mother. Why she was now afraid to go back to Marvel in fear she'd be taken to Asgard and wouldn't be able to leave? Damian butted in that there was no way he was going to let some gods stop him from keeping Aife safe and happy. She softly laughed at her soulmate's devotion. She held his hand the rest of the time. Aurthr listened to every word coming off Aife's tongue. He was fuming that she ever had to be reminded of her past. And that she was scared that she would be taken away. He was also sad that she was beating herself over Peter. Once she had left, he was bombarded with questions. Fury had told them to leave him but as the days went on the group asked questions. Mainly, Thor and Loki, but also the rest. Aife was devastated that he was going through that just because of her file, her past and her DNA. He could tell that Damian was also sad about that fact, but as he said nothing about it Arthur decided to stay silent as well.

"Aife I'm sorry you have to go through this," He said as she finished. "You can't change anything uncle," She said back. "You had nothing to do with this I just know you care for me and didn't want to leave you in the dark," Aife continued. "Still, I feel terrible. I was supposed to give you a batter, new life. Now you're being thrown back," He added. "I was supposed to protect you," "And you have, HYDRA can't get me. YOU could have never known that that file was going to be there. No one knew," Aife reassured her uncle. "From what Aife has said, you have been nothing but a good uncle," Damian added as he looked away. Arthur smiled at him. Damian sucked at comfort and compliments. Tho he could tell, that when it came to Aife, it was a whole lot easier. "Let us get back on to something good. You two huh? Damian, I hope you know that, while you don't have to, you can call me uncle," "I will not," "The offer is always there,"

Arthur talked with the two for some time before they all departed the café. While Arthur started the long walk for clean sea water for him to swim back to Atlantice Damian and Aife decided to walk back to the manor.

Once they got there the two walked to Damian's room and closed the door. The walk was the break from telling people about them. Aife got out her phone and hovered over her father's contact. She breathed in as Damian came over and hugged her from behind. The two kind of just stood in the middle of the room waiting for the phone to stop ringing. It did as Fury picked up. "Aife?" He questioned. "Hey, can you get Mum and Phil in a room alone just the 3 of you?" She asked. "May I know why?" He asked. "I need to tell you all something and since it's the same thing this saves me from repeating," She expands. "I'll call you back when we are all alone," "Bey, Dad,"

Aife and Damian waited for the phone to ring in silence. Soon it did. "Dad," Aife said first. "You are on speaker," Fury said over the phone. "Ok, well I was going to tell you all in person, that's why I was in Marvle last time, but you know how that went," She said quietly. "Aife they aren't getting you, we won't let them," Her mother's voice called out. "I know, thanks, Mum. But. um, back to why we were there in the first time. Ah, as you saw Damian was with me at that is because Damian is my soulmate,"

Fury threatened Damian with torture. Damian fully accepted the punishment if he ever hurt Aife. Aife sighed as she would have one, said the same thing and two, also that she knew Damian had just earned some respect from her family.
