"YOU THINK YOU KNOW MY SOULMATE" Jason screams after a silence. "He's a hero in the Marvel world. He was frozen in time so we have the records of his mark because he was a soldier in World War II. It was a thing you had to have written down back then when you joined," Aife explains. Jason looked existed. He knew Aife was from the Marvel world because of Chloe. He was ballistic. Jason hugs Aife. She freezes and then hugs back with one arm. Jason backs off quickly. He had hugged her out of excitement. He didn't mean to make her uncomfortable. "Hey, why don't we go now? I can call my Dad to set up something. I would suggest you get to know him first tho," Aife says turning to look at the door. Then back at Jason. "Now, we need to go now,"  

"What do you mean you and Todd left the manor," Damian said over the phone. "Well me and Jason had a lovely conversation about his soulmate, and I found out that I know said soulmate, so we got up and left. Also, tell no one that you know that I know Jason's soulmate," Aife said as she and Jason walked into S.H.I.E.L.D's main ground base. 

Damian on the other hand had just finished answering his family's questions. He wanted to find Aife. He wanted to ask what they were doing next. He knew her answer was going to be 'just go with the flow' which translates to 'I don't want to deal with it and just cuddle'. But he still went to find her. So when he couldn't he called her. 

So Aife is in the Marvel world and Damian is borderline confused. "Does he know about us?" He asked. "No," Aife said back as she bent down to pick up the card she had dropped. She handed it over to Jason. "Didn't know if you wanted people to know," She continued. "You can tell him. As much as I hate Todd, he does care for you, " Damian said quietly. He really did hate to admit it but he knew Jason cared for her. He had from before he knew about her past. Aife just giggled. Even over the phone, it made Damian's heart flutter. But what she said next almost made him die. "Maybe one day I'll be his sister-in-law," She said before having a small laugh. She said goodbye to Damian as she saw her father before hanging up. 

"Hey, Dad!" Aife said as she put her phone in her pocket. "Hello Aife, you here for the team-up mission," He said. "Yep, also Jason, Nick Fury, Dad, Jason," She says pointing to the respective people. "Nice to meet you, sir," Jason says. Even if Nick was being neutral he was still slightly intimidated. "Here is the debrief and room the two are in," Nick says handing it off to her before he left to do some other work. 

Jason and Aife walked to the room. Aife was telling Jason what was happening. The two were going on a small mission. It was the type of mission that S.H.I.E.L.D. sent new duos on. Like a bonding mission. Once they made it to the door Aife handed the file to Jason. "Relax, Jason. He doesn't even know you are soulmates. Just treat it as your meeting a new friend," Aife says. "Yeah fine," He says as he opens the door. 

"Hello my name is Jason Todd," "James Barnes, everyone calls me Bucky,"

Aife left the headquarters to see if she could find some coffee. Aife walked around going down an alleyway to crossover streets. While on her way down a hand grabbed hers. Aife reacted by flipping this person over her shoulder and pinning them to the ground. "Ow, nice to see you two Aife," "Oh my god, Peter don't spook me like that,"

Peter Parker was Aife's first-ever friend. Fury had introduced the two when Aife was first brought to S.H.I.E.L.D. Peter's natural caring attitude helped her adjust slightly. The two would see each other whenever Aife came to see her family. 

"What are you doing here? You normally call or text when you visit," Peter said getting off the ground. "A friend of mine's soulmate is from here. They are from DC, so I'm helping start that ball rolling," Aife explained. She walked out of the alleyway as Peter followed. "Really? Are you going to tell me or are you just going to keep it a secret," He says as comes up next to her. "How are you and MJ?" Aife asks. "Hey, you can't just change the subject," Peter calls out. 

Peter and Aife talked for a while as they sat down at a café. They talked for some more before they started walking to the museum. "So... would you like to join me on a swing around the city tonight," Peter says. Aife knew he was talking about patrolling.  But in public he was cryptic. Now Peter didn't know about Plagg but she did have a suit that she wore on missions for her father. "Yeah, I've got to go have dinner but you can text me when you're out and I'll come find you," Aife said. "I might bring a new friend," She adds. "I'll hold you to it,"

Aife left Peter at the museum for his date with MJ. She then walked back to  S.H.I.E.L.D. to get Jason so the two could go back to the manor. As she walked up to the room she had left Jason and Bucky in. She heard laughter from the room. She had a small smile on her face. She opened up the door to find Jason and Bucky laughing about something. The sound of the door opening made the laughter quiet down. "Hey Aife," Jason called out to her. "Hey Jason sorry to take you away from your Romeo but we got to go back," Aife said as she leaned on the door frame. "Alright see you on Wednesday Bucky," Jason said. "Later Jason,"

Jason and Aife walked up to the manor. Aife still slightly teasing him. Damian was waiting for the two. Well, Aife. When Aife saw Damian she smiled at him. "Hello, Amir," She smiles. "You had fun, Amira?" He asked. "Yep, also saw Peter do you want to join me and him on patrol instead of going on yours here?" She asked. "Wait, wait, wait, demon spawn did you tell?" Jason cut in from behind. "Мы скажем ему? (Do we tell him?)" Damian asked. "Твой брат, твой выбор.( Your brother, your choice.)" Aife said back. "Were soulmates Todd, and if you tell anyone I will put you in the ground," Damian says glaring holes into him. "No..." "Yes" "No way" "Jason we are soulmates" "I don't believe it" "We can show you our marks" "There is no fucking way demon spawn got you" "What do you mean by that Todd" "Jason just calm down"

(Fun fact Jason is multilingual: Taught by Batman, Jason is fluent in several languages having spoken English, French, German, Italian and various others with Russian being his weakest.)
