They kissed.
Swearls of gold surrounded the two. The gold danced around the two kissing teens. As they parted the good fell like snow.
A speak of gold landed on Damian's nose, distracting the two distracted by each other. They looked up to see the falling gold. Aife put her hand out to have some gold fall on her hand. Once it did it instantly turned into a green colour before fading away. Her mind started racing as she realised the gold felt like her magic. But her magic was green and also she never cast anything. "Amira," Damian says pulling Aife out of her train of thought. He sounded shocked. "Yes, Amir?" She asks back. He placed his arm out to her.
His mark was gold.
Aife looked at her arm to see a gold mark staring back at her. Damian was her soulmate. She could not be happier. Damian pulled her into a hug. He held her for a long time. He had thought for the longest time his soulmate was dead. His mother said she would make sure of it. So he could be with someone she chose for him. He had honestly thought that they had been dead. He promised to protect Aife with his life.
The two let go and talked for a while. Happiness radiates between the two. They soon had the thought of going home. Yet when they tried to leave they found it locked. "Shit that's a problem," Aife says. "Yeah" Damian states. "I'm going to look for a way out of here," Damian says walking away. "OK!" Aife calls out.
The second Damian was out of site Aife started to talk to Plagg. "Plagg can I- Are you crying?" Aife asks. "No! I just got some camembert in my eye," He says. "Ok, whatever you say Plagg. Now can I tell Damian about the whole miraculous thing," She asks back. "Yeah kid, he is your soulmate. But, I want double camembert when we get home," "Yes Plagg,"
"Damian! I know a way we can leave!" Aife shouts out to wherever Damian is. The demon in question turns the corner into Aife's view. "What is it Amira," He asks. "Ok don't freak out, but Plagg claws out," Aife says quickly. In all honesty, she was incredibly nervous. She was freaking out that Damian would hate her for any reason.
Tho that's not what was going on in Damian's head. His soulmate was just encased in green for a split second. Then came out as the Paris superhero Luna Noir. His head was racing with a million questions. "Your Luna Noir," He said quietly. Any research the bats had tried to do on the group if some other force had stopped heroes. Alfred had suggested magic. "Ahh, haha, yeah...We have to keep our identities secret but we can tell our soulmates and whoever is the guardian of the miraculous box says we can," She explains. "That makes sense," Damian replies.
"Come here," Aife said holding out her hand. Damian takes her hand. She pulled him in and then held his waist. "Hold on," She says as she takes out her staff and extends it. The two shoot up into the air. They stop and watch the city lights for a split second. "We're going down now," Aife says. "What?" Damian asks. Aife said nothing as she leaned forwards.
Safe to say once the two hit the ground Damian could not be more happy. This he would never tell Aife that. "You know you're a lot calmer about this stuff than I thought you would be," Aife says. "I am Robin, Amira. This isn't the most shocking thing I've seen," He says walking away. Aife looked at him for a second before smiling and running after him. She picked him up bridal style and extended her baton. She ran back home with him on the rooftops.
The two arrived home. Aife de-transformed and sat down on the couch. Damian sat down next to her. "So what now," Aife asked. She knew she shouldn't keep Daimian in the dark about her past but also she really wanted to. The fear of him leaving overpowering. Unknown to her Damian was have a very similar train of thought. He also knew he should tell Aife about his past. He doesn't wasn't to risk her finding out because of his mother or just the league itself. He lets out a sigh. "There is something you should know from me before someone else tells you,"
He told her a brief overview of his life in the league. He never went into detail. Just the brief list of what he did, what he was trained to do and his position in the league. Then explained how and why he now lived with his father. Aife was honestly shocked. Her soulmate had a similar life to her. But in her shock, she looked over to Damian who looked like he just wanted to crawl up in a ball and never see the light of day again. It clicked that he was having the same fear she had. Thinking she'll hate him for something that he had no real control over.
"You know you are not alone in this,"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you see...
My mother sold me to an organization called HYDRA when I was a baby. Actually, the moment I was born. I don't think she ever held me. Don't think she wanted to either. They started to teach me how to kill and teach me other things I need. I was raised to learn fast and kill faster. By age 5 I went sent on my first mission. When I was 6 I was in a car crash that made me lose my arm. When I was ten they injected me with this thing that enhanced my abilities. Everything about me became better from eyesight to strength,"
Aife stopped talking. It was the same information she had given her friends but this made her want to cry. She wanted to tell him more. "I'm sorry there is more but I just can't," She cries out. She wanted to tell him more.
"Amira..." Damian whispered. Pulling Aife closer. She looked at him. He wiped the tears from her face. "Amira there is nothing to be sorry about," Damian said pulling her closer into a hug. The two fell asleep on the couch.
In each other company.

FanficSoulmates are a funny thing. Words on your skin that match another. Aife was no different. The words written on her wrist are 'Two Demons' in Arabic. (I have added this story to Ao3 so if you see it there, that's why)
