Alexandra
Ozea was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Even from the room she was hiding me in, I could see the whole kingdom and it looked magical. I had been left alone in the room since our return from Caela.
The silence gave me a moment to sink everything in. I always wondered who my parents were, imagined them to be soldiers in the army or perhaps farmers that got killed or even two people who just didn't want me and left me at the Domus Dei for Miss Ava to find.
I was the daughter of a Goddess and the God of Violence and War. I felt nervous again. I paced the floor waiting for someone to come in and give me some clue of what was happening. I sat on the coral chair and restlessly shook my knees. After what seemed like hours of waiting I hear noises coming from the outside. I stand up waiting for the door to open.
She looked different from how she looked on land, she looked ethereal here. Her hair filled with blue streaks that darkened with her moods and matches the colour of her eyes. "I apologise for making you wait" she gives me a small smile. "Have you eaten?" she asks and I shake my head. She waves her hand over a table in the room and fills it with food. "Come" she holds out her hand to me and I take it and follow her to sit at the table.
"How long will I be here?" I ask. I wanted to go back to Hal. As much as I wanted to know Taissa, I needed him. Her face falls at my question.
"Until we come up with a plan" she promises "You will reunite with him" she assures. She looks at me sadly. "I never meant to make you feel abandoned sweet Lexie" she says "It was the only way to keep you safe" she breathes loud "I watched over you" she smiles hopeful "So did Vaira, every step of the way"
She stood up to tell me how she found out about me. She realised she was with child and had rushed to Elixia to ask Vaira for help. Vaira was still living with the guilt of annihilating Nea's daughter and couldn't bear to do the same to her own niece. Vaira had decided that they would hide me on earth. A place where I could blend with the humans. They enveloped and guarded me with every charm and spell they knew to protect me from Luka or any of the other gods.
They had decided to not descend on earth for my protection. To keep me safe. "Someone had betrayed us" Taissa says "No one but Nerak and Vaira knew and they wouldn't betray me" Taissa said holding back her tears. "But while you are here, you will train" she says to me "You will be strongest of them all" she says.
All I could think of was Hal. Taissa shows me Hal through the Effta and promises me that I could come see him whenever I missed him but it would take time for me to reunite on earth with him.
Ozea was a whole new world. My new found brothers felt like long lost friends who I had reunited with. I would train with them and train with Taissa. I had cousins, so many of them. I felt stronger, learned newer techniques that almost seemed impossible. Taissa taught me to control the water and to use it while I fight. I would spend my time in the evening looking at Hal through the Effta. My heart ached and I wanted to give up everything to just be in his arms. He looked troubled and sad.
My eyes turned blue when I summoned the water as I look at my reflection in the mirror before turning to focus it against Lesta. He blocks it and chuckles when the water settles around us "You are getting good sister" he smiles.
"I just have a good teacher" I compliment him making him chuckle again. It had been almost two moons since I had landed in Ozea. Lesta had taken me under his wing, teaching me, showing me around Ozea and protecting me from those who weren't too fond of Luka's daughter's existence. We swim back to the palace and see Vaira in the hall. Vaira swings her neck to look at me entering.
