The Capital, Kingdom of Ayra
Lesta looks at his sister sitting in front of him in the carriage as they head for Ayra's Capital. He had watched his mother look at her from the Effta and always wondered if it was just because it was Devra's son's mate. He grew increasingly protective of her when his mother revealed to him that she was his sister. He swallowed hard as he looked out of the carriage, scared of what the future held.
Lexie's mind on the other hand was on Hal. A blush creeping over her face as the memory of her writhing underneath Hal flashes through her mind. She brushes away the thought and focuses on the outside view that passed her by as she travelled to the Capital. "Do you remember how we get out of there?" Lesta confirms with her as they get out of the carriage and she nods. She did not expect a welcome but as she looked up she saw all of Ayra's Princes and Princesses gathered at the entrance. Some of the faces she recognised and some she didn't.
"I know you" Djolna comments on seeing the girl step out of the carriage. "You played with Kal and Hal" he recognises. Lexie doesn't budge.
Luka watches Djolna greet his daughter. She was more beautiful than he had expected. More beautiful than even Raissa. He watched her calm face show no emotion at Djolna's words. He saw the man who came with her stand protectively beside her. Her face gently pivots to look at him. Her eyes a stormy grey. A smile crosses his face "Daughter" he greets. Her face remains stoic.
"You requested a meeting" Lexie speaks and he lets out a laugh.
"Come now daughter" he laughs "Is this a good way to greet your long lost father?" he steps closer to her and she stiffens. "You look just like your mother" Luka observes "Such a disappointment. I was really looking forward to seeing me in you. Perhaps things would be different then" he circles her like she was prey.
Luka smirked as he watched his daughter stiffen. He looked at Taissa's son stand protectively close. It was one of the conditions of Vaira, that one of Ozea's brothers accompany Lexie. "What do they call you?" Luka asks.
"Alexandra" Lexie answers unaffected.
Lesta feels uneasy as he sees Arga walk forward to where they were standing. "Lesta" Arga smiles viciously. "You're far from home" she walks towards Lesta and places her finger at his clavicle making him more uncomfortable. She lets out a vicious humoured laugh. She steps back and lifts one arm in the air and Lesta's eyes widen as he knows what is about to happen and suddenly he is lifted off the ground by the talons of an Oolvana. Luka grabs Lexie's hand and puts shackles made of Helvite making her powerless. He pulls her as she struggles inside the Palace of Ayra.
Lexie struggles as she tries to free herself from the shackles but is dragged inside by Luka as if she were just as light as a feather.
Luka waves his hand once he reaches the dungeon and coats it with Helvite as he throws his daughter inside it. "I apologise daughter" he says to her as she growls in anger "But I need you and Taissa wasn't willing to share" he smiles and she growls louder. Lexie uses all her strength trying to break free from the shackles. He points to two men dressed in Ayra's colours "Say hello to your brothers" he smiles "This is a nice reunion" he smirks "They're like .... what was his name again?"
"Lesta" one speaks.
"Lesta. Here to protect. You" he smiles and Lexie breathes heavily as she looks at them.
Luka knew it would lead to a war. He knew Taissa wouldn't back down and he was ready for it. He had an army again. He had rebuilt. He sat on the throne of Ayra's court and had even the humans side with him. "I will make her my Queen, my Lord" Djolna spoke. Luka hated his guts and thought him worthless but Djolna was his way into earth. Luka wasn't prayed to and was never summoned on earth until Djolna.
