Alexandra

The sun rose and set three thrice as I sat in the dungeon coated with Helvite. A handmaid would come thrice a day to give me food which I refused to eat. Luka came every day to try and get anything about who had descended to earth and I would refuse to speak to him. I had tried everything to break free from the shackles on my wrist. I had even studied the entirety of my cell looking for a sliver through which I could set myself free. I head the doors of the entrance creak and sat us straighter. It was one of the guards from Helviti. He opened the dungeon opposite mine and threw a prisoner in and left. I looked at the prisoner and he turned to look at me.

"Your Majesty" I said surprised.

"Goddess Alexandra" he greets back looking slightly drunk.

"I'm not a Goddess" I stand and walk closer.

"But you are the daughter of gods, yes?" he smirks.

"What are you doing here?" I ask ignoring his previous question.

"The same thing you are" he laughs "Imprisoned by the King of Helviti" I say nothing but look at him with pity "I remember you, you know?" he smiles sitting down on the bench inside the dungeon "You would play with my sons. Sneak in with two little boys into the Palace, thinking no one would notice" he smiled reminiscing. He leaned his head back against the wall "I was always scared of the wolves. But you would bravely play with them all" he smiled "I even saw you come and play with my wife's wolf once he was gone... I forget his name"

"Rulle" I remind.

"Rulle" he smiles "Yes, I though he was the scariest till I met my sons she wolf" he laughs.

"Why did he put you in here?" I ask.

"Because my son has a problem with my favourite son" he smirks and lifts his head up to look at me. "Do you know what his plans for you are?" I purse my lips saying nothing "He's going to make your Ayra's Queen"

"By marrying me off to you?" I scoff unbelievably.

"No" he laughs "I've abdicated apparently." he shrugs "By marrying you off to the new King. King Djolna of Ayra" he stands and walks to face me holding onto the bars leaning on them slightly. "They've surrounded Ayra with Helvite. No one's coming in and no one's going out" he says "But remember" he whispers "Ayra worships Taissa before Luka" he stands up straight "And they will support Taissa always"

"Why are you telling me this?" I ask.

"They've poisoned me. I can feel it" he coughs "I'm dead meat in the morning." he says to me and I look at him in shock. "It's okay." he laughs "I've lived a good life"

"Have you?" I ask through a clenched jaw. I had seen what he done to people. What he had done to Miss Ava.

"I have" he smiles.

"Have you atoned for all your sins?" I ask and he looks at me and his smile falters. He gulps and looks at me afraid. I turn away from him and leave him standing there while I sit back on the bench. He is about to say something when the door creaks again and Helviti guards comes in. I look back at the King and he's still looking at me in shock. The guard opens my gate and they come in and grab a hold of me. I try resisting but the shackles don't allow me.

They bring me into the court of Ayra's Palace. I look around and see all of Ayra's Princes and Princesses sitting with their heads turned to look at me. Djolna sits on the throne beside Luka. He stands up when I close in "My Queen" he rejoices and Luka just stares down at me. I look at Djolna who hurries down the stairs. "Welcome" he holds his arms out. I hide the disgust I was feeling internally.
