Luke's Pov:

It was a nice Thursday afternoon, no missions and no sightings of ‘TIme Breaker,’ my arch nemesis. To be honest, it was kind of nice. I was finally able to have a break to enjoy myself, the first one in a long time. However, it was just me though. My parents were out on patrol while my brother and sister were attending hero training. Oh well, I didn’t let that keep me from enjoying myself, I had decided to go to the cafe.

With my cheek rested against my hand, I took a sip of my Caramel Latte, a common drink that my brother always got. It was rather nice, the caramelly flavor now coating my mouth. I looked down at my phone, checking for any messages or alerts. ‘No new notifications.’ I sighed, lowering my head and rested my chin onto my now crossed arms.

“C’mon Lukas, you’re just being paranoid.” I mumbled to myself, lazily grabbing one of my Dangos and taking a bite before going back to my original position. With a swallow, I closed my eyes with a chuckle. “Guess I’m not used to getting breaks.”

After about 7 minutes, the bell on the door rang, notifying that someone new had arrived. “Hey Hey! Scarlett! Hit me up with one of those blueberry bubble teas!” The guy waved from across the cafe to the female working behind the register. She nodded while cleaning one of the see-through glasses with a soft cloth. She turned, her cotton candy colored hair slightly swaying as she did so. Gosh she was so pretty…

I shook my head. “C’mon Luke, now’s not the time to be admiring her.” I said to myself. “Oh? Does Lukey~Poo have the hots for Miss Scarlett~?”

I flinched, that voice sending chills down my spine. I looked up, seeing the male who had entered the cafe not even moments before. My facial expression coldened, seeing the all too familiar red and blue hair, the pink and cyan heterochromia eyes, those horrid cyan streaks under his eyes and those disgusting dark cyan shades. He showed a dark grin, seeing that I put the pieces together. I sat up, glaring daggers right through him

“What. Are. You. Doing. Here..?” My voice was super cold, but laced with a lot of anger and annoyance.

“Aww~ You aren’t happy to see me? Bummer.. I thought you’d be more excited..” His tone dropped, his facial expression looking hurt, but I knew it was all an act. He was a pro at deceiving people so I wasn’t falling for his act.

“Cyko.. I’ll ask you again. Why are you here?” I scoffed, seeing he was ignoring me. Of course, I called him by his actual name. I sighed, “Reworded. Why are you here… Time Breaker.”

He smirked, putting a hand on his hip, “Oh nothing much, just visiting my favorite baby hero before I destroy the world~”

Destroy the world? I knew he could fast forward and rewind time, but he can’t time travel… can he? Not unless he learned a new move..

“How..?” I asked, my gaze still glued to him, not wanting to look away for the slightest second.

He waved his hand in a circular yet sassy motion, “Oh c’mon, you aren’t the only one who’s been training Lukas.” He smirked, putting his other hand up and placing a finger to his lips…
