"I'm so sorry for bringing so much trouble, you see my niece. She's a nice little lady. Sometimes she just do things without critical thinking and make commotions. Again, I'm so sorry." The middle aged man apologizes to the Principal.

"I accept your apology Mr. Nishikawa, but make sure that your niece will face consequences of her own actions. I mean, she should act her age. Don't you think?"

"..They're teens, but yes. They should act their age." Mr, Nishikawa would've wanted to make a point but he wouldn't stand it, not with the strict principal. "She's almost 18, I assume she'll have proper manners."

𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿: As teens begin seeking independence, you will frequently butt heads and argue.

At this point, the girl's uncle has given up. "Yes. Again, I'm so sorry."

Once they were dismissed. Mr, Nishikawa forcefully pushed his niece into the taxi and they went off without talking until they've reached home.

"Explain yourself, Mayu." Mr, Nishikawa threw the house key over the counter. As his niece, Marin settled down on the couch. "I didn't do it."

"Do what? Mayu, just tell me what happened. All I do was to apologize without knowing what you did, so tell me.." He exhaustingly said, "If my brother–your father hear about this he would be extremely upset..So, you have to fix it. Tell me, what did you do?"

"As if he would be here." She whispered, "Alright. I was just helping my guy classmate do this crazy experiment. I didn't know that it could possibly blow up and burn down the chemistry laboratory."

"Goodness, Mayu. All these times I thought I disciplined so you well. It upsets me. I hope you know that." He went over to the kitchen and pour himself a drink, "..There's nothing much I can do. It's done and all you have to do is do what they want you do, got it? I hope this would be your last trouble."

Mayu nodded in agreement. "I will try my best, Uncle. I'm sorry."

Mr, Nishikawa couldn't resist her apologetic face. It's always been like this. His niece is the only person who could make him very upset at the same time, feel relieved. It's a uncle-niece relationship that clearly other people aren't aware of.

"Stop giving me that look, I already forgive you." He stated, patting her head. Mayu smiled and have him a hug, "..Now that we're good now. Can I have a money to buy some snacks at the corner store?"

Mr, Nishikawa rolled his eyes in defeat. "You mischievous kid. Alright, don't go over the limit." He handed her his card. "Buy me something too."
