Chapter 8

In the middle of eating and ordering of various types sushi. Mayu suddenly had the urge to go the restroom. Yuki nodded as he look at the menu again.
  
 
 
 
 
The bathroom in this Sushi has a unique design. It was small but has a lot of stalls. It was crowded actually but Mayu managed to get in among the rest.
  
 
  
 
 
She looked at herself. Nothing has changed except her smudged lipstick. "Ah, I was eating and talking at the same time..I wish he won't be turned off after this." Mayu spoke as she wipes her lips with water.
  
 
  
   
  

Once she's done. She quickly head out to their table but only to found out. Yuki was already talking to a woman. She couldn't recognize her as she was backfacing Mayu.
  
 
 
 
 
 
Observing her, she's wearing a flashy red body fit dress and a revealing off shoulder. She pulled it off like she's totally a grown woman, maybe in her mid 20s. She's everything Mayu was insecure about.
  
 
  
   
  

She panicked. Mayu didn't hesitate to jog to their table and confront the girl that Yuki is currently talking to. "Excuse me, who are you?"
  
  
 
 

 
The girl was utterly confused. "Ah, who-" Yuki shoved me off and brought me to the side. "Mayu..this happens to be a bad timing to boast to people that you like me and we're on a date, please. I'm only doing this so I could pay you back for all the efforts you've given to Tom."
  
 
 
 
 

Mayu froze. She was shock with Yuki's sudden bluntness. The lady smiled, "Oh, I must've been interrupting the both of you. Sorry, Yuki I didn't know you two are on a date."
  
  
  
 
 
"..No," Yuki shift his attention back to the lady. "She happens to be the one responsible for the cat I found in the sewer. I was treating her for dinner."
   
  
    
 
     
 
That day, It finally absorbed in my head. After all the numerous rejection yet this one hits real hard.
