Chapter 6

The sun out in full force, the sky a limpid blue. Yuki is lying on his back on the grass. Him and his team has just finished running laps for an outdoor warm up. His eyes slowly closed.
  
 
 
 

This way, it's better to savor the peacefulness. He started dozing off. A blurry memory comes in his mind.
  
  
 
   
   

"Yuki, please accept the fact, I'm going to marry someone else, please. " A woman voice came ringing inside his head. He was driving the car in full speed, while the woman was seated next to him. "No, it can't be, I will be better..A better person for you, please. Tell you're parents I could be successful as a professional athlete that I can-"
 
 
  

 
"Yuki, watch out!" The woman screamed. A ball of light took over his memory. They got into a card accident which lead to their relationship to come to an end. They cut off their relationship as if nothing happened.
 

  
 
Tears rolled down his face as he got soak up with the rays thinking about summers past. Until this day, he blamed himself for being irresponsible. He failed to protect his relationship. Just because of his irrational outburst.
  
 
  
   
  
 
For a second, he tries to forget where he is, imaging himself elsewhere. Until an image of a girl showed up randomly. She's a jolly, funny and clever girl.. it's Nishikawa Mayu.
  

 
Yuki immediately sat up. He shrugged it off with a thought, *No, I can't let her get into me or my life. I can't do the same mistake I've done in the past.*
  
  
  
 
 
"Are you okay?" Shimizu Kunihiro checked up on him. "Come on, let's get hydrated. It's going to be a long day,"
  
 
  
  
   
 
"Yeah, I'm fine. I will catch up. Go ahead," He replied. Kunihiro refused to go alone, "Something going on?"

  
   
   
  
Yuki heaved a sigh, wiping the tears on his face. "Nothing, really. My mind is just confused, I was medidating. It really helps.." Kunihiro nods, "She'll forgive you, Ishikawa Yuki. No one wanted it to happen, don't dig a hole for yourself. I'll tell you what, go what you think is what's best for you, it's been 1 year.."
  
 
  
  
  
 
"I know. Eventually, I'd like to stay like this." Yuki stated.
  
 
  
 
 

"..No, what's best for you is to be with someone again. Somebody who knows your worth. You know there could be someone out there..wanting to have you, I think it's time for you to open that very secured heart of yours."
