"Where are you? Can we go out?" I had to re-read Ishikawa Yuki text message. For once and for all, he tried to reach out for me.

The past weeks, I've been in a slum. All I do was to go to school, remind myself not to get in trouble and take good care of Tom. "Is this for real?"

Covering my mouth agape. I reached out for my pillow and planted my face with it. I squealed. *All those rejections, am I gonna get a proper meet up with him? With just, me and him?* I jumped around my bed.

"Hey, Mayu can you keep it down, please? I'm trying to take a nap." Uncle knocked on my door. "Y-yes, sorry." I answered before I sat straight so that I could respond.

That'll be rude. I locked my phone and begin to prepare. I'm taking this lightly, I won't expect something and if he came up with another rejection..Then, at least I have a time with him?

Once the taxi pulled over. Yuki waited for me in the nearby stop. He was dressed casually. Now, I feel like I overdress myself. "Hey,"

"Mayu." He greeted me. "About today, I'm sorry for not informing you early. It just came out of nowhere, you know. But, here we are." He scratch the back of his head.

"It's alright, I'm always on the go anyways.."

"Is that so?"

"You didn't bring Tom with you? I thought you'd bring him," He asked. Clearly, he won't be happy having me around huh? It's saddening.

"But hey, it's alright. It's my fault for not telling you first. So, uhm..this is awkward. Let's go for a date?"

His voice cracks. It's obvious he was nervous but I was happy that he is giving me quite of a recognition with the love I'm really offering him.

For others, our relationship might sound so escalated but I think for me, it was timely. Yet, I don't have the assurance that he will keep me. Goodness knows where this might lead. This is what I wanted.

"I made a reservations to the sushi place you missed last week, I just thought you really like eating in that place.." He offered his hand. I gladly took it. My right in his left. Then, I quickly dash to the other side. Yuki laughed quietly.

I have always imagine this kind of scenario with somebody. I didn't know that we fit together. His hand in mine. Mine in his. It's more than the lacing of fingers.
