You found yourself in your dress from the previous night and walking next to him in a store. Feeling completely overdressed and awkward as if people could just tell that you had done some obscene things with this man the night before.
Paul walked next to you seeming none the wiser at some of the stares he was getting as he grabbed a cart and pushed it along as you followed right along with him.
"So this was your spontaneous idea? Shopping?" you asked as he grabbed your hands and put them on the cart handle over his as he walked behind you.
"Don't take your hands off the cart. I don't want you wondering off to where I have to run around and go find you. And yes shopping. I wanted to make sure you had stuff for work," he said as you both rounded a corner full of water bottles. Making you realize he was doing as he had set out with the hydration and eating reminders.
Eyeing him as he looked around at them and saw one that had timestamps up and down the sides of it for the amount of water one is supposed to drink.
"Perfect," he said as he threw it into the cart.
"Just have to make sure when your done with the first round that you fill it back up for the rest of the day," he commented as you went down another row that was full of snacks as you felt your mouth water as you scanned the aisle, hesitating as he stepped away.
"Pick out some stuff. But not all unhealthy things," he said pointedly as you narrowed your eyes at him.
"I thought you said you wouldn't care what I ate as long as I ate something. You said that last night when I ordered a salad,"
"Yes, indulging every once in a while is healthy. I just want to make sure my good girl is treating her body right, that's all. Why I said to vary it. Healthy snacks and some things to mix in every once in awhile cause I know that having some treats would help with mood and productivity," he said as he picked up a couple bags of trail mix and put it in the cart as you grabbed some little bags of candy that you knew would be the first to go come monday at the office.
You rounded another corner, thinking that he was going to go straight to the checkout, but he surprised you as he went towards the clothes section.
"Pick out some clothes you would want at the house. Pajamas and things that would be comfortable for you. And maybe just some regular clothes to change into. Since that won't be the norm," he said looking you up and down in your velvet dress from the previous night.
"Ok, as long as we get to go down the candle aisle," you said as you watched him narrow his eyes at you and then shake his head.
"That's fine I suppose. I guess you can have one for when you take baths," he said with a nod as you started walking around the clothes section, specifically in the lounge wear to grab some things that you knew you would want to wear after certain instances. As well as some jeans, and shirts as well. And picking up bras and underwear stopping as you did so and looking back as Paul was standing by the cart watching you one second, nodding in approval at your choice as you smiled and put it in the cart.
"I didn't think that would apply but--"
"No that applies as well, unless you want to be around my house without those? Either way I don't mind. Whatever makes you feel comfortable," he said as his phone rang and you eyed him quickly before going down to the candle aisle without him, as he stopped to talk on the phone to whomever it was that called him.
You were taking the covers off the candles and sniffing at them as you were trying to decide between two different scents. When you felt a presence behind you.
You turned around and saw Paul with the cart clicking off his phone and he didn't look happy.
"I'm sorry, you were on your phone and i just thought--" you started to say as Paul took both candles that were in your hands and put them in the cart.
"When I say you do something you do it," he whispered at you in a commanding voice that reminded you of the previous night that made you automatically feel heat pool in your lower stomach at his tone.
"I'm sorry, I should've stayed by the cart," you said, realizing that anyone else around the two of you would probably get a different idea about what was going on.
He sighed, running his hands through his hair.
"It's not you. We didn't hammer out the details about going out in public. I would've given you a few warnings. I know that you didn't do it with malicious intent or even to just be a brat about it. Let's just go to the checkout and buy these things," he said, turning towards the checkout aisles.

Walking next to him back out to the car, bags in hand he clicked the remote to unlock the car and popped the trunk of the car. Putting the bags in.
"I know that you're used to a certain system. I wish that we could've talked about it before going into the store if you were intent on starting this," you grumbled as Paul closed the trunk with a slam, making you jump slightly.
"That wasn't my intention at all y/n. You were the one that pulled that reaction out of me, and other things as well," he said as you saw a scowl at the corners of his lips starting that was replaced with a smirk at you.
"So it does have to do with whoever called you when we were in the store?"
"No, it had more to do with the girl that was supposed to stay by the cart and deliberately chose to not listen to me. But since we didn't talk about this beforehand I guess I'll just have to make it up to you when we get home and put all these things away," he said, walking to the driver's side of the car as you got into the passenger seat, feeling more than heat pool in your lower belly this time as you had to adjust the way you sat in the seat, trying to ignore the sudden wetness at his promise of making it up to you.
