You looked across the room at Paul, as he was leaning against the table with a cocky smirk on his face.
"Sorry, I guess I'm nervous. I don't know," you said as you felt your heart race at his intense stare.
"Well, you shouldn't be nervous. I just asked you in here cause I noticed you off Evan's social media. You're his girlfriend that I have yet to meet. I didn't think I would anyway with how everything is. Did he come here tonight with you?" he asked, hope evident in his voice that Evan had come with you to the concert.
"No, he actually took a flight out to Texas to visit his mom." you said shuffling your feet against the concrete flooring feeling awkward talking and meeting Evan's dad in this circumstance. And him not being here.
"Oh, yeah I get it. I guess I didn't check social media or else I would have probably seen that. But with concert prep and things it just slipped my mind,"
You saw a look of sadness wash over him at that thought. Even though you both knew that he probably wouldn't have come with you. since Evan himself told you that he was distanced from his dad. Only spent time with him when it was required of him at this point.
But being in his 20's it was now his choice to see his dad if he wanted to.
Which meant that he had not seen his dad at least since you had started dating him for the past 6 months of dating.
"Yeah well, regardless now we can say that we both met each other," you said with a smile, seeing the look of sadness in his eyes wipe away at that. As a smile came up on his face.
"yeah it is, how about we take a couple photos if you want. And then I can introduce you to the rest of the band. They probably are already at the hotel eating dinner," Paul said as he pulled out his phone as you turned toward him and leaned into his side as the flash of the camera on his phone blinded your face for just a second. And then you were grabbing your phone and taking a photo so you could have one.
"Alright let's get to moving, I'm sure I need to already be out of here anyways," Paul said as they walked out of the door and he led her through the maze of the venue and out an exit into a waiting car that would take them to the hotel.

You walked out of the elevator, following Paul to a room and opening it. Gene, Tommy and Eric were inside the suite, winding down and eating dinner. While actively talking to other people that were in the room, which you assumed was some crew members that work closely with them.
"Whose this?" Gene questioned, as you noticed Paul was smiling at you in your peripheral vision.
"This is Evan's girlfriend y/n. She was at the concert tonight," Paul said as you stepped forward to shake Gene's hand. Then Paul introduced you to everyone else in the room, as you felt nerves come up. Cause you felt the questions that were coming.
"So did Evan come with?" Gene asked, a smile on his face as Paul looked at him sternly as the smile fell.
"Sorry I asked, I was just wondering," he said as he got back to eating his plate of food.
"I just came by myself, he's actually in Texas right now
The following day, you woke up later than usual, your head pounding from sleeping in later than expected. After meeting Paul he took you to the hotel the band was staying at before going to the next tour date. You met all the band members. They all seemed tired but they all took their time and were civil with you as they ate their dinner. Talking to you about your relationship with Evan, how you met him, etc.
You were so caught up in meeting the band members and talking to them. Feeling just a bit closer to Evan in the process since he never talked about the band that his dad was connected to. Since all of them had been around Evan while he was growing up. That was until you got a look at the time on your phone as you were taking pictures with the band members.
:"oh my god it's past midnight and I left my car at the venue parking lot. It could get towed," you said going to the door as Paul followed you out of the door as you were frantically pressing the elevator button.
"Crap I got a ride here, are the buses running? I wonder if I can get an uber," you mumbled to yourself, as you clicked on the uber app, as Paul's hand came into view moving your phone down.
"We can get you a ride back, don't worry. I'm sure your car is still there. If not we can always go to the tow yard and pick it up," Paul said, patting you on the shoulder to try and calm your nerves. Watching his fingers fly on his phone shooting someone a text message as the elevator doors opened up.
"Driver is going to be waiting at the hotel entrance, it's all good y/n. No need to worry," he said as you both got into the elevator, as you tapped your fingers against your leg nervously watching as the elevator traveled down to the ground floor of the hotel.

Driving up, you felt relief seeing that the venue didn't block off their parking lot and that the trucks from the band were still there packing up the stage that they bring with them to every tour location. And seeing your compact car all by itself further off on the parking lot, not stolen or broken into as it sat there like you had thought as you were being driven back.
You smiled at Paul and hugged him, taking him by surprise, as he stiffened into the hug.
"Thank you for driving me back, I appreciate it so much," you said as you got out of the blacked out Suburban, your hands immediately in your purse fishing around for your keys. Feeling a hand on your arm, making you turn to look.
And it was Paul looking at you with an expectant smile.
"Is that how you planned on leaving it? Hugging me in the car as you go off back to your apartment?"
"No, sorry. I think I was so caught up in relief that my car is actually still here and like not vandalized you know?" you asked rhetorically as you turned to hug him again, feeling his arms go around you lightly as you both pulled away. But you could sense something as you looked up at Paul. Since it looked like he wanted to say something to you but shook his head.
"Don't be a stranger, maybe talk to Evan and see if you guys can come visit me. I'll be back in town in a few weeks for a couple days off," he said, moving away, as you smiled at the thought.
Totally the opposite of what has been told by Evan. Apparently Paul wants to be involved in his life.
"I'll talk to him about it. But I would love to come visit you again. Meeting everyone was great," you said as your hand was around your keys and you clicked the fob button to unlock your car and slid into the driver's side door putting the key into the ignition and starting the car. Waving at Paul, as he leaned against the front of the suburban watching you as you turned into the main street. You found your eyes going to the rearview mirror watching him in the distance until he got back into the suburban as it drove off back into the direction of the hotel.
Leaving you finally alone with your thoughts. And feeling almost as if his arms were still around you from the hug and the scent of his cologne burned into the back of your mind from the closeness. As well as the smirk on his face that he had in your direction during the concert which was almost the same one that he had on his face when you were both alone in his dressing room. ANd you realized it looked like he was almost undressing you with his eyes.
Of course that would come back to me when I'm driving back to the apartment.
You tried to shake the feeling of the pooling warmth in your lower belly as you mind kept on bringing up that look on his face in the forefront leaving you grumbling as you pulled into your parking spot, slamming the door of your car. Walking quickly with your purse full of signed merch into your apartment and putting it on the couch as you stumbled into your bedroom and collapsing in bed with Paul's voice clearly in your head as you groaned out of sexual frustration since you shouldn't be thinking inappropriate thoughts about your boyfriend's dad at all.
But from the look he had on his face both times it seems like he wanted you to.
