You drive to your house to take a shower and change into different clothes. Looking at your reflection in the mirror you sigh. Feeling guilt taking over you as you look at the single KISS concert ticket that was taped to your mirror.
Should've just told him. Even if he did say he wasn't on the best terms with his dad.
Finishing off with your makeup, you fixed your denim jacket on your shoulders and grabbed the ticket, taking it off the mirror. Leaving the house and going off to the concert venue where the concert was at.

Standing outside the venue, you looked around at the multitude of fans. Some were wearing face makeup. Some that weren't. As the doors open and you walk in, setting your sights on getting food before going to your floor ticket seat that you splurged on buying. Since it had been forever since your last concert. And it was KISS.
Regardless of Evan's relationship with his dad, you were still a fan of the band. And hated the fact that you felt like you had to hide it from Evan.
And coming to see them on your own made you feel like you were hiding something. Deep down there was a nagging sense of regret and disappointment in you that you didn't just outright tell Evan that you weren't having to work hetec shifts. That you had actually put in some time off to see this concert and have the next day off to recoup due to staying up so late.
Looking down at your ticket you found your seat that was dead center on the stage and next to a smaller stage that was in the middle of the venue. After having found your spot you went over to the food venders and stood in line, your stomach grumbling at the smell coming from all the different options.

Your heart was pounding and you knew that you wouldn't have your voice tomorrow as you sung along. Or more so, screamed and shouted along with the band to the songs. Clapping at the finish of one song as the lights went out and fireworks burst on stage. And Paul was up at the mic with a smile on his face.
"Now it's great to be up here seeing all of you. But I wanna be out there with you sometimes. You want me to come out there?" he asked as a chorus of shouts from the crowd were his answer.
"If you want me to come out there you're going to have to say my name real loud alright? 1, 2, 3" he said as he outstretched his arm that was holding the mic and the entire crowd erupted in a single echo back of "PAUL" in answer as he smiled.
"That's great! I'm going out there to see you!" he said as he quickly got to the right side of the stage, putting his foot into a hoop as he was whisked across the crowd and onto the mini stage that was right in front of you as he waved out to the crowd that was sitting behind you.
And then started in with singing love gun and dancing across the stage, as you found yourself smiling like an idiot.
That was until he was looking down at the people around the stage. His eyes connected with your in the lights that were being projected onto the stage. His face lit up with a look of recognition as he smirked at you and winked at you.
And for the life of you, you knew you were dating his son. But that heated look he seemed to give you made heat pool in your lower stomach.
If only I wasn't dating Evan, maybe, You thought, as you shook yourself from your own dirty thoughts about Evan's dad, as he pointed at you as he sang the song. Making your face heat at his undivided attention.
He finished the song and started Black Diamond, and was brought back on the main stage, and you noticed he said a word or two to someone that was down near the far stage and was gesturing in the direction of the mini-stage. Before going on with his guitar parts.

Just as quickly as the concert started it was done, the sounds of "God Gave Rock N Roll To You" were blaring out of the speakers as people were leaving the arena. And the KiSS crew were already making quick work of breaking down the stage.
You decided to wait out the crowd, since it wasn't like you were going to be leaving quickly at all. That was until a hand tapped you on your shoulder, making you turn to the side.
A man wearing a black polo shirt and clipboard in hand was looking down at you.
"I was told to get you and bring you backstage while the band was still here, come on follow me," he said with little room for you to talk as he grabbed you by the wrist and started walking towards the main stage.
God, he probably thinks I'm a groupie. But they are kinda older? Would they still get groupies? You thought, as suddenly one of the side curtains was opened and you were following the man around the maze that was part of the arena no audience member would see. Then knocking on a door and hearing a deep voice on the other side of it as the man opened the door and then he was gone. Leaving you looking at a partially opened door.
"You can come on in," a very male voice said as you stepped up and stood in the doorway, seeing Paul looking at his reflection in the mirror. A very wet Paul, as if he just came out of the shower.
He was out of the costume and back in regular clothes, a black shirt and jeans. And he was running a brush through his hair.
Well fuck me that's not fair, You thought, as you noticed a smirk forming on Paul's face as you held eye contact with him, feeling that same intense feeling of heat pooling in your stomach at the way he was looking at you.
"Now I really can't be doing that with the girl that is supposed to be my son's girlfriend," he said turning to face you, leaning against the table, his eyes still scanning you up and down as your face heated up at his words.
Crap he heard me, you thought as he smiled.
"You said that out loud too y/n," he said smiling as you felt like you wanted to run from his heated gaze.
