I was sitting on the couch watching dancing with the stars,Lola told me to watch it and I'm not gonna lie. It's amazing. I was watching the Halloween night and jojo looked on fleek. "CHEESY MACK" Lola yelled. I told her to stop calling me that.
I ran up to her room "Dude jojo and her dance partner just got a perfect score" I said slamming her door shut. "I know right! Anyway. Me and jame are going on a date to the theater. What should I wear?" She squealed holding up two out fits.
"Okay pump the brakes lols,ya gotta be more quiet. Second of all wear that one,it's just the theaters right? So wear something cute and comfy" I said rolling my eyes and pointing to the white crop and ripped jeans
"Yes! Omg and with my frog bucket hat!" She giggled. "Your the best Mackey!" I laughed "never wear a dress unless it's a romantic sex movie." I sent with an eyebrow movement "ew! Get out Mack!" She yelled pushing me out.
She came down the stairs in the outfit I picked. Along with her hat and some eyeliner. "Where you goin all dressed up Ann?" I heard my dad say Ann was her middle name. "Out with some friends dad." She smiled
My mom came in with a plate of cookies and looked her in the eyes. "It better not be that f@gg0t Jessie or whatever that dyk3s name is"
Lola rolled her eyes and looked at our mom
"One her names JAMIE not Jessie and she's not the slurs you called her. And no I'm going with maylyn" she said storming out the door.
LOLA POV
God. I fucking hate it here. I stormed out the door and walked to Jamie's house so we could walk to the theater.
Once I arrived I knocked on the door. When the door opened I saw her dad. "Hello Mr.Underwood! Is Jamie ready?" I asked eagerly.
"Let me see,come on in!" He said leading me to Jamie's door.
"Jamesy maysie Your girlfriend is here!" He said knocking. I giggled at the nickname as she opened the door.I looked her up and down she looked so pretty. "Ay. No eye-fucking my kid Miss Gwen!" He laughed. The brunette turned a bright shade of red "dad. Your an embarrassment ." She said covering her face laughing.
We walked out the door as we said our goodbyes. We walked down the sidewalk hand-in-hand. *ding* we both checked our phones. "Oh,it's may" I stated looking at my cellular device.
Maymay: ur mom is on the phone asking if you're with me? I told her yes. Now what are you doin here bestie?

I replied then put my phone away. "What did she want darlz?" She questioned I got my phone out and showed her. She made an understanding face. "What movie are we watching?" I asked she pulled out the tickets. "She's the man" she read. Since there's no new movies we were gonna watch a classic. And that's the one she went with.
When we got there we paid for our snacks and went to our seats. We watched all the previews. "Babe..in December we should watch the new spider man" she whispered in my ear. I giggled "YOU can watch the new spider man You know I don't like spider man babe" I whispered back.
She rolled her eyes and layed her head on my shoulder. Lacing our hands together. In
The middle of the movie my notifications kept going off.I guess I forgot to turn off vibrate on silent. I looked to fix it.
Maymay: SHIT , UR MOM CALLED MINE AND SHES LOOKING FOR YOU NOW. DID YOU TELL HER WHERE YOU WERE GOING?
Maymay: SHIT SHE KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE.
"Fuck" I mumbled grabbing Jamie's hand tight

We walked the rest of the way to her house. When we got to her porch I let go of her hand.
"I love you Jamie Underwood" I smiled
"I love you too Lola Gwen." She said cupping my face and kissing me. She didn't have any neighbors so we didn't worry about people seeing us.
She took off my hat and ruffled my hair before putting it back on. "Bye Gwen" she said opening the door "bye Underwood" I said kissing her hand.
I walked back home. When I got there
I walked in and almost made it to my room.
"Lola Ann!" I heard the beast yell "yes mother" I rolled my eyes "where were you? Sure as hell not with maylyn" she shouted "what do you mean? Of course I was. Oh. You thought I meant Morgan? No I meant Maylyn menrow" I said with a smile she had a confused look. I walked up to my room
"Nice save Lola granola" I heard a voice "Oh my- Jackie what the hell!" I screamed "the window" he pointed at the open window . I sighed and shut my door. I sat in my rolly chair and fixed my hair. I looked at him as I saw my bag of gummy worms fly off my vanity.
"Dude. You sneak in my room,and then you steal my candy? Not cool Jackson. not cool at all." I said he looked serious. I tilted my head waiting for an answer.
A couple tears fell.
"The government is doing a check on the non-powered kids tomorrow Lola..to make sure that they don't know." He softy said crying.
This is bad,so bad. "Alex.." I whispered "alex." He said I looked at him. He stood up and walked to me.
I stood up and hugged him. They can't do that mind reading on alex..shit..
"I can't lose him granola..I love him." He cried on my shoulder
"We'll figure this out jacksy taxi"
