3rd Person POV

Babel, the capital of the hive world that is Babylon. This place of sheer brutality, war being the lifeblood of its people. For the past few weeks, the Righteous Crusaders had been going from city to city on Babylon. Siege by siege, and now they were outside the gates of Babylon's heart, the hive city of Babel. The mighty Babylonians had stood strong and ready, eager to fight and die in the glorious battle that was to commence.

In orbit of Babylon, the fleet of the Righteous Crusaders had positioned themselves over Babel. They were prepared to bombard the hive city whenever the order was to be given. This was the final strike to force this world into compliance and bring it under the banner of the Imperium.

Just outside the city, the Righteous Crusaders had set up their position. Jahaziel and Y'honathan stood at an elevated position, gazing at the hive capital known as Babel. Artillery batteries were aligned just about a hundred feet away from them, ready to fire at the walls.

Jahaziel: Is everything prepared?

Y'honathan: Aye brother, you need only give the word

Jahaziel: Begin the bombardment

Y'honathan nodded before turning to a nearby marine. Said marine then relayed the orders through the vox channels. Within seconds, artillery barrels let loose as the fleet in orbit began raining down judgement. The shields were being overwhelmed, soon giving out as the city began to take damage.

The walls were holding strong but were beginning to give way to the artillery. In the sky, drop pods were shot down from the ships towards Babel. As the drop pods landed in the city, dozens among dozens of mechanized astarte units began making their way to the walls of the city. An attack from the land and air, the city would fall this day.

So as the walls buckled and the defenses were overwhelmed, marines began to wreak havoc. In the city itself, marines from drop pods had secured their positions and killed whoever they cane across. And at the walls, marines had begun breaching through. And it was their main father, Jahaziel, who would lead them into the battle.

Jahaziel: FORWARD MY SONS! FOR THE GOD EMPEROR OF MANKIND!

Righteous Crusaders: DEUS IMPERATOR VULT!

The war cry was heard by all those in Babel, and there was excitement amidst the Babylonians. But as the battle raged onwards, they soon began to fear an oncoming reality. If they all died here, what would happen to their way of life? What future battle would they never get to see? This fear had seeped into the ranks of the Babylonians, and their commanders knew it.

Jahaziel was cutting through swathes of foes with his blade, blasting others apart with his wrist bolter. His sons moved close to him, shredding their targets as they came into view. His brother, Y'honathan, was leading up a flanking force with tanks through nearby streets. Marines poured forth into breaches and crashed into the Babylonian street fortifications with unending force.

They hit them hard, and kept hitting until their foe was grinded into dust. Y'honathan called upon air support, causing thunderhawks and the gunship-like stormbirds to fill the sky. The stormbirds fired upon the ranks of Babylonians in a barrage of bolter fire as thunderhawks landed. Even more marines poured out into the battle.

Y'honathan fired upon a group of enemies with the bolter underneath his arm. And with his other arm, he set the inside of a building aflame with his flamer, burning the Babylonians inside. It was then his vox channel spurned to life.

Master of Signal: Father Secundus, Father Primus seeks to lead an all-out assault on the spires. To cut the head now and win the battle

Y'honathan: I will support his flanks then, broadcast orders to our armored columns and units near me. We are to clear and hold a path to the spires, do not relent and dig in once our foothold is acquired
