Lapis's POV:

I fell asleep next to Peridot, she was in so much pain, and yet she knew how to calm me from mine. I haven't felt this feeling ever I don't know how to deal with this sort of feeling. Jasper was my first love but it was very sad and one-sided. Peridot made me feel safe and secure, maybe I am falling in love with her.

"Ma'am" I felt someone nudging on my shoulder and eventually it woke me up. I opened my eyes to see a short Philipino lady in nurse scrubs and she had pink glasses with her name tag on her sleeve. "Ma'am I'm going to need you to move so we can take Ms.Greene to the scanning room for her arm" I rubbed my eye and nodded as I got off the bed and saw Peridot give me a soft smile as she went out of the room. I sat down on the nearest chair that had a blanket on it. "Silly Peri.." I wrapped myself with the blanket and turned my phone on to text my dad I was at the hospital visiting Peri. I soon decided to leave the room and wander off to look for the cafeteria or some kind of vending machine. I took a bunch of lefts and rights until I saw the sign saying "Sunrise Cafe". I walked through the door and bought a water bottle with some sour creams lays. the baked ones of course that's all the hospital had. I opened the water on my way back up to the room. opening the door to an angry Peridot staring at her phone. I heard a metal play out of her phone as she yelled out "NOOOO YOU STUPID CLOD!" she threw her phone by the foot of her bed and crossed her arms in pure anger followed by angry mumbles under her breath "waste of metal.. good for nothing... mmm" I kissed the angry blondes cheek and put my hand on her head "Calm down.. it's just a game"

Time skip to when Peridot go out of the hospital (Third-person)

Peridot and Lapis walked down the school halls, looking around at the dark red and light blue patterned lockers. The blonde sighed as she turned the corner with Lapis right behind her. Lapis showed a concerned face as she looked at the short girls frown. "Whats the matter?" Lapis asked with a hope of joy in her lovers voice.

"Nothing" the blonde said plainly as she stopped by a light blue locker, after some twists and turns she finally opened her locker. Peridot threw her books in the locker and closed it "Well it seems like something is bothering you Peri" the bluenette said leaning on the locker beside the blondes. "I'm fine Lapis, just a little shocked because of obvious reasons" Peridot said as she pointed to her left shoulder and walking off to the nearest classroom.

The bluenette didn't know what to do but to just follow the blonde. She intertwined their hands startling the blonde as they walked off.
While they walked they didn't notice an angry Jasper watching them from behind.

He crushed the partially empty can in his hands as he grit his teeth. "That little piece of shit had the guts to come back.." his eyebrows furrowed as his whole body basically turned red. "Chill Jasp, she's already injured enough I don't think you need to start more trouble" Jamison said as he gripped his hand on the brutes shoulder to calm his nerves. "Look at the little bastard, you're lucky she didn't pressed charges on your dumbass for shooting her" Jasper grit his teeth as Jamison spoke the truth. Eventually the angry brute calmed his nerves and throw his can into the trash "Fine" he says as he walked away. "That little bullshit will play later." He said putting a deathly smile upon us face.

Lapis POV:

Class is so long.. she thought as her eyes trailed off to the small blonde that sat in the back of the class. She watched in the corner of her eye as the blonde looked out the window with an upset face.

Jasper did this to her.. I haven't seen her smile for three weeks now she thought in her head. All because I wanted to break up with his bland ass. She held her pencil in her tightly as she tried so hard not tear up, especially in History class there was always gossipers in there. "Ms. Lazuli-Jones is there something out the window that is far more interesting then learning about how much your people fought." An elder woman spat out grabbing the bluenettes attention. The bluenette felt the eyes creeping and watching her. "No ma'am" Lapis answered with a stutter "Perfect" the elder teacher grinned and continues her lesson. Lapis blushed of embarrassment and continued writing her notes.

Soon came lunch and Lapis went to sit over with the group of cheerleaders. She was the cheerleading head but had to resign her position because she had to take care of her brother and couldn't juggle the time.
As she was talking to the girls on the table she looked over at Peridot laughing with someone.. she couldn't tell who but she didn't like it one bit. Who are you laughing with.. thought the bluenette as she adjusted herself just a bit more to see who was behind the backpack. It's Connie.. Lapis finally saw who was she talking with and noticed that they were sitting side by side with each other. She noticed how her sweet blonde smiled as they both listened to whatever they were listening to on Peridots phone. Lapis's face began to show a more aggressive energy causing her friends to notice.

"Don't waste your time love" Aquamire said aloud catching the bluenettes attention

"What do you mean Aqua?" Lapis answered still eyes on the two girls

"I mean don't even think about it with Peridot Greene." She paused as she chewed her food "Even though you've already have. That doesn't mean you'd get a chance" she said swallowing her food.

This caught the bluenettes attention towards the sarcastic girl "What do you mean I don't have a chance with Peridot." Lapis scoffed and bolted her eyes at the girl furiously. "You don't know?" Asked Sapphire a more petite and short girl, her hair was white and she had these bangs to cover her eyes. She sounded concerned. "There's some kind of rumor that Peridot and Connie actually did it "she continued " but it was like a two time thing, I heard they went on a date and it just didn't work out so they stayed friends" Ruby replied a oranged hair girl said aloud she had freckles and always wore a red band around her head to keep her hair out of her face. She wasn't a cheerleader actually, she was a basketball player. "Yeah they're friends." Lapis's voice was stern and clear. "Lapis, either way if you see those two making googly eyes something happens in someones house" Sapphire said.

Mmm.. you're all just scaring me she thought as she picked her tray up and walked over to the trash cans to get a better view. She looked at the dark brown haired girl and the blonde only to see Peridot holding Connie's cheek. The bluenette rushed over towards the blondes table. Pushing her away calmy from the other girl and lifting her chin. Lapis looked down at the blonde and placed her lips against the blondes. Lapis broke the link between the kiss. Leaving Peridot and Connie in a bit of a shock, she grinned and sat on Peridots lap front to front and wrapped her arms around the blondes neck hugging her. Peridot didn't mind for this had became normal to her.

when Lapis looked over to a speechless Connie she smirked just a bit to big hehe..that's right bitch she's mine now. She felt peridot lean Lapis's back on the edge of the table and buried her chin into Lapis's neck. "Look around clod.." she whispered into Lapis's right ear. Lapis came back to reality and looked around to see people staring at her.
(First person)

I groaned into her ear. "Mmm let them see.. I get to see way more after school" I whispered back into her left ear. "Lapis whatever this insanity is coming from stop it." Peridot sounded stern but nervous as I twirled the blondes ear with the tip of my finger "what? You gonna teach me a lesson or something? What do I get Detention?" I knew what I was doing, I knew it was working when the blonde gripped my thigh. "You're a real bitch sometime Lazuli.." The blonde said as she gently motioned me to get off her lap which of course I did. "You wait until after school." She whispered in my ear before packing her things and walking away with Connie..
