"Oi! Hinata. Hinata!" Kiba's voice echoed through her subconscious as Hinata slowly opened her eyes and met the concerned faces of her teammates peering down at her.

Hinata blinked a few times before her mind settled at the current situation. Oh, right.

The battle with the Ikizokus had been settled and the whole team was lying exhausted on the ground after their victory. Maybe she was just a little too tired from the battle that she ended up dozing off

However, that's not important now.

What's important is that Shino, Kiba, and Akamaru are now beside her. The heiress had been awfully worried about Kiba after his near-death experience with Lee against the youngest Ikizoku clan member yesterday. That's why, seeing them with their usual selves now, filled her with relief.

Hinata shot up from the ground and unceremoniously hugged Kiba out of happiness. The gesture was acted upon by reflex on her part out of worry for her teammate. Besides, Hinata cared a lot for her teammates just like Sakura, Ino and Tenten to their own.

"I'm really glad you're alright." the heiress mused afterwards and patted Akamaru's head beside the brunette who looked rather surprised at her actions.

Was she being a little too affectionate? But it wasn't like she never hugged her teammates before, right? They're basically like a family, aren't they?

"Y-yeah." Kiba answered in confusion before glancing at Shino beside him, clearly asking for help with the situation.

"Hinata, are you alright?" Shino asked as he adjusted his glasses. Unfortunately, the bug-user was just as confused as the brunette as he observed the heiress.

"I'm fine, Shino-kun. I maybe just dozed off a little from exhaustion." Hinata reassured her teammates who only shared an even more confused glance.

"Hinata." Sakura chimed in from her side and worriedly looked at the heiress. "Are you sure you're okay?" the medic-nin asked. "I mean, you were screaming in pain before you fainted earlier."

Hinata blinked at the pinkette. "I-I did?" Then why didn't she feel any pain when she woke up earlier? The heiress furrowed her brows. What exactly is happening?

"Oi. Oi. Don't start telling us that you lost your memories or something." Kiba half-joked which earned him a couple of glares from the other kunoichis.

"Hinata." another voice called out to the now confused heiress. A tall, blonde, blue-eyed ninja came forward from behind Sakura and stopped right before Hinata. He flashed his classic toothy grin at the heiress and held her hand.

"You haven't forgotten about me, right?" Naruto asked.

Hinata covered her lips with her free hand and giggled at the hero before her. "Of course not, Naruto-kun. Why would I?"

The heiress let out a surprised yelp when Naruto suddenly wrapped her tightly in his arms before chuckling on her shoulder. Hinata's answer also earned sighs of relief from everyone on the team.
