Twenty-Six: A Light Shines Through

Team Eight and the rest of the Komorebis charged at Gaku and Atsuya in a final clash of strengths. They knew that they're already exhausted from hours of battling even though it seemed like they have the upper hand now. 

Until Gaku swiftly trapped the remaining Komorebis in a seal and drained their chakras while he fought with Yuuri and Hinata. The chakras that the big guy had sucked from the insect-users refueled him endlessly, which made him even more difficult to beat. 

Shino, Kiba, Akamaru and Chiha resumed their fight with Atsuya and the parasitic insects that she kept producing as a shield. Shino had gradually weakened after losing some of his chakra. Kiba and Akamaru were also almost at their limit, their will and determination barely keeping them on their feet. And Chiha was also exhausted, she must have used and lost at least a million of her insects during the entire battle already. 

"Give it up, Yuuri. It's over." Gaku provoked as he absorbed the last of the Komorebi chakra. 

"Not until I defeat you, Gaku-san." Yuuri answered and suddenly asked Hinata to take a step back, which she reluctantly agreed to. 

The Komorebi leader nodded afterwards before he closed his eyes and weaved a long set of hand signs. A moment later, his whole body turned luminescent as his feet floated in the air. A few glowing butterflies fluttered around him when he opened his eyes. 

"Yuuri-sama!" Chiha shouted from a few yards away but the leader merely smiled at the girl. 

"Ah, that's more like it." Gaku snickered. "You just made my job easier, Yuuri." 

"We'll see about that." Yuuri said and charged at the big guy. 

Hinata was left frozen in her spot as an astounding battle ensued before her. 

It was like watching Naruto in his kyuubi form versus Madara or Obito during the war. She couldn't believe how much Yuuri's powers had escalated when he changed his form. He was suddenly more stronger than Gaku in an instant. 

Until her veiny pale eyes saw the consequence of the monstrous power. 

The butterflies around Yuuri are disappearing one by one and his chakra is successively thinning inside his body. Hinata then understood the panic in Chiha's voice when Yuuri changed his form earlier. 

The clan leader is dying... at a dangerously rapid speed.
