"Happy Birthday, nee-sama!" Hanabi grinned at Hinata after she barged inside her sister's room early that morning.

Hinata giggled at her little sister while she picked up her stuff for the mission that day. "Thank you, Hanabi. And good morning to you, too."

"If you're ready, come on. Tou-sama's already waiting." Hanabi urged.

Hinata simply nodded before following her sister to the dining room. It is the first time for their family to actually celebrate her birthday after the recent events that happened. Hanabi insisted that they'd all have breakfast since it might be the only time they'd have with her because of her one-day mission.

The family shared a pleasant breakfast that morning with their father. It was really nice to start a day like that. And for Hinata, spending time with her family during her birthday meant more than enough for her. The heiress refused to receive gifts from anyone because she didn't want to be a bother---- as usual----, that's why they settled to having this breakfast together, instead.

"I never saw you this eager on my birthday, Hanabi." Hinata commented as they cleaned the dishes after the hearty meal.

"I'm overdoing it a little, aren't I?" Hanabi sighed as her expression suddenly turned gloomy.

"Hanabi?"

There was a long pause between them before the younger Hyuuga took a deep breath and smiled at her sister. Although her expression didn't reach her pale eyes.

"I just had a hunch, nee-sama." Hanabi asserted. "What if this is gonna be the last birthday that you'll celebrate with us?"

"Huh?" Hinata frowned. "Why would you even think that?"

"Because..." Hanabi pouted. "You have Naruto-nii-sama now. And once you guys get married, you'll be moving out of the compound and... nee-sama?" her words were interrupted by the sound of the eldest' laughter. "What's so funny?"

"Oh, Hanabi." Hinata muttered in between giggles and stepped towards her sister before playfully squishing her cheeks with her palms. "You're overthinking." she reassured her. "Besides, Naruto-kun and I have just started well... dating," the heiress paused and blushed at the word. "That's why," she cleared her throat. "You don't have to worry about anything, because I'm not going anywhere."

"I know." Hanabi sighed in defeat and hugged her. "I know that... but..."

Hinata smiled and hugged her sister back while she brushed her fingers through her hair. She never expected to see an adorably clingy side of Hanabi after so long, given her usually headstrong personality.

But Hanabi will always be Hanabi for Hinata.

"Thank you, Hanabi." the heiress smiled and kissed the top of her sister's head.

Hanabi nodded. Certainly, her hunch will eventually happen soon. Yet, she couldn't help the fact that she's already missing her nee-sama right now. The younger Hyuuga sighed. She really does love her older sister very much, after all.
