"Are you excited to see grandpa and Hanabi-nee-chan?" Hinata asked her two-year-old son while she wiped the bits of food around his little cheeks after they had breakfast. Boruto flashed a cheery grin until his blue eyes squished shut with glee.
"Grandpa! Nee-chan!" the little blonde cheered, making his mom giggle at his antics. It was Hanabi who insisted to be 'nee-chan' rather than aunt by her nephew because it made her feel younger. While Hiashi overly doted on his grandson, completely changing his once-feared character and dignified reputation as the Hyuuga clan head.
It was the middle of spring in the Leaf village and the Uzumaki family received another present during Boruto's second birthday from a few weeks ago. Hinata is currently carrying the fourth member of the family in her belly.
Sure enough, Naruto and Hinata were overjoyed by the news while little Boruto pampered them with questions as he became adorably curious and excited about his little brother or sister inside his mother's tummy. The Hyuugas were equally delighted by the news, with Hiashi proudly bragging around the village about having another precious grandchild on the way.
The Konoha 11 teased the couple more than they congratulated them. Their own little ones were also growing up just fine, giving hope and pride to the Leaf as the next generation of shinobis.
"Are you sure it's alright for you to go out today?" Naruto asked his wife as he fixed Boruto's sandals on their way out to the Hyuuga compound. Hinata haven't been feeling well until yesterday due to her pregnancy, so he was worried about her suddenly moving about today.
"I'm fine, Naruto-kun." the heiress assured him with a smile. "Besides, I want to see the cherry blossoms, too." she added, remembering how her husband told her that the spring flowers are already in full bloom all around the village.
"Okay then, just tell me if there's anything you need." the hero said as they all stepped out of the house. Boruto demanded to be carried on his father's shoulders so Naruto lifted him up with a chuckle, holding his son in place with a hand on his back. Then he outstretched his free hand to his wife who held his with a smile.
"Grandpa! Nee-chan!" Boruto excitedly cheered again, earning a laugh from his parents as they strolled together towards the Hyuuga compound.

Naruto wasn't complaining. He was overjoyed. He finally had the family and happiness that always he dreamed of in his lonely little world as a child. Now, he loved every bit of his present.
But he hated it how he sometimes feel jealous of little Boruto getting all of the attention from his wife. Yes, it was definitely a silly thing to even think about. And Kurama had been laughing his ass off of the hero's bizarre predicament. Naruto simply ignored the fox and kept the situation to himself instead of embarrassingly admitting to Hinata about his problem.
Honestly, Naruto eagerly taught himself from scratch about being a father since he learned about Boruto until he was born and now as his golden duplicate steadily grows up. The blonde assisted his wife with everything he can while shuffling work at the Hokage tower and albeit his missions, too. He learned to how to bathe, hold, carry, feed, clean and feed a rapidly growing infant even though it was really tough work.
