It takes her a minute to process what he said. "WHAT?! Why do you have to move there? Is everything okay? Will you be back? When do you have to go? Wh-----"
He cut her off by answering all her questions, "Yes, My grandfather is really sick and lives all alone, so we need to take care of him. I know I'll be back but I don't know when. We leave in 3 days. I hope you understand." He said looking down again.
"I understand, Niki. I obviously do. I was just worried, I'm sorry for bombarding you with questions."
"It's okay" He smiled at me, as I pat his back.
