"You couldn't have told me sooner?" Danielle heavily pants while balling up her fists to her sides. Raising her voice to match the burning sensation turning in her head. The nails on her fingertips digging in to break a layer of skin from her palm, creating a sting of pain. Unfazed by the pinch, she heads into the bathroom to splash cool water on her pale face. How could she be so foolish? When she thought everything was perfect...

"I know— I am so sorry. My love, I didn't know either until a week or so ago." Stefania follows the blonde into the bathroom. Hands on hips with a concerned facial expression to match. Maintaining a level of calmness to encourage a safe space for them both to air out their concerns and emotions. Worrying that Danielle might have a panic attack with how furious she seemed.

"Don't call me that." Danielle hisses, gritting her teeth together as she holds onto the basin of the sink. Desperately wanting to break something in her hands. Feeling nothing but fury and frustration. "So, exactly a week or more than a week?" Anger filling every ounce of her body and an urge to know every single detail even if it didn't really matter in the bigger picture. Usually she would take out all of her frustrations at the gym, but she was far from that...

"Okay. Okay... A week and a half ago. I just didn't know how to tell you..." Stefania steps back into the hotel room, dropping her hands to her sides, urging the blonde to follow her back into the bedroom and she does as she is told. "It really pains me, Danielle."

"And you didn't think for a minute that it would pain me also?" Danielle's voice breaks, tears threatening her eyes. But she was determined to keep them forward. Stick to the matter at hand. "What are we supposed to do now?"

An awkward silence filled the room. Both women pausing in contemplation as they attempt to keep composure. Pacing back and forth in the hotel room. The shift of tension once was anger and now it is sadness. Feeling hopeless and a little taken-aback by the situation.

"I leave for Italy once the tour dates are over. So, we have until then..." Stefania feels her heart literally shattering into two pieces. It wasn't long at all. She didn't want to move back to her country but her time was running out here. "I suppose deep down, we knew this would happen, right? I mean, you will have to move back to your own country too at some point, no?"

"Yeah... I guess so..." Danielle allowed her eyes to water. Tears slowly cascading down her cheeks like a gentle waterfall. She hated that Stefania was right; she hadn't even thought about returning home and what that meant for their relationship. "I just don't want this to end..." She faces the brunette, exposing her vulnerability by connecting with her puppy-like brown eyes to her sad ones. Staring into balls of sorrow.

Stefania lifts a hand up to the dampened cheek, rubbing away the tears that fell softly. Persuading herself to keep it together but failing to do so as she brings the love of her life into a soft and tight hug.

"We could try long distance? Perhaps, sometimes I will fly out to you and you will fly out to me... I could show you my hometown... you could show me yours..." The brunette attempted to lighten the mood, but the more she trailed on the more they both realised how hard it would be to achieve a long distance relationship under their circumstances. Money would undoubtedly be an issue— equally the time zones would be difficult to manage. As well as trying to juggle their separate careers.

"Yeah... maybe..." The blonde's voice fell flat as she tried to believe her response. Still indulging in their cuddle, promising herself that she would never let go. Alas, tired and sore eyes were starting to feel heavy for them both.

Danielle and Stefania hugged for a few more minutes before breaking their tight embrace. Deciding to take their connection into the king-sized bed after changing into their sleepwear and brushing their teeth. It had been quite a long and emotional day for the pair.
