It had been a week since Stefania and Danielle had communicated with each other, both of the girls equally unsure of how to tell the other one how they really feel. Most nights had lead them hovering over the keyboard of their phones and then deleting their words apprehensively.

The blonde was back in the comfort of her own apartment, having abandoned it besides the few trips she made back and forth to fetch some clothes from her wardrobe. She would be lying though if she said she wasn't missing the company of the beautiful brunette.

Coming to the recent decision, the blue-eyed woman had come to the conclusion that she would audition for the theatre. Weighing up the pros and cons, and finalising that it would be a step in the right direction for her career. Opening doors of possibilities. Trying to disregard the Italian into her decision, not wanting it to cloud her judgement. Her mother also agreed, reminding her daughter to follow her heart and enjoy her time while she was still in the city. You can't beat a mother's intuition.

Back at home, the blonde had experience singing as she was a part of the choir in school. Transforming those skills into actual singing lessons and then creating a single on Spotify which she soon gave up on. Realising that acting was her top priority even though she always loves to sing when she can. Maybe only in the shower for now. Her dancing skills were mediocre, but she was always down to improve them, how hard can it be?

Breathing in and out behind the closed curtains, tapping her foot on the vinyl flooring. Noticing how the dust settles in the corners of the room as the light fixture shines on every speck. It felt somewhat relaxing to watch the dust. Stacks of chairs leaning against the far wall of the backstage area, towering over the people walking in and out. It was quite a dim-lit room with no windows to help ventilate the oxygen.

In preparation of her audition, she had memorised a dialogue from one of her favourite television shows. Effortlessly playing the words in her head over and over again. Ready to pour her blood, sweat and tears into the speech. Taking another deep breath in, and then exhaling slowing in order to keep her nerves at bay. Suppressing her thoughts about the beautiful Stefania - now is not the time to be thinking about her and how her body moves under the sheets.

"Danielle Savre?" An enthusiastic voice appears out of nowhere; instructing her that it was her time for the audition. There had been about seven other people in the room eagerly waiting to perform in front of this tall man. Shaking away the nerves, loosening up the limbs and making sure to use the adrenaline fuelling her body to an advantage. Turning nerves into excitement.

"If you could stand in the middle of the stage, please. Whenever you are ready..." His eyes drifting to the pen in his hand, while the other reaches for his beard, scratching at the grey hairs on his chin. Quickly jotting down some last minutes notes, making the blonde feel anxious with each note.

In the meantime across town, the brunette finds herself in a local bar with her roommate; drinking from a tall wine glass, sipping on the fruity liquid. Observing the spectacular views that the city has to offer. They were sitting on a rooftop of a towering building; the people below looking like ants. Skimming the rim of the glass with her fingertip in deep contemplation. Music playing in the background of her thoughts, barely breaking the barriers of her musings.

Barrett sips on a vodka and coke, staring at the brunette with sympathy as the ice clinks against the glass. Trying to read her thoughts written in her eyes. "If you are that hung up on her, then why don't you just ask her out? Like properly? On a date?"

Stefania looks up at her roommate, then back out to the London skyline. Watching the white clouds trickle over the sun and birds flying high around them.
