I went home eventually at kumalma na rin si Tanner. I helped him clean his place first and told him to get some sleep. He even wanted to bring me home but I said no because obviously, he needs rest. He also promised to be at Theo's birthday which will be next week Friday. 

I parked on my spot and turned off my engine and heaved a deep sigh. What a night. I know for real that Tanner understands me but this doesn't change the fact that I am still guilty about it. Tanner is a good man and he deserves to be happy and unfortunately, I could not give that to him. 

I grabbed my purse and opened the door and locked my car. The front door opened and Tristan came out naka pantulog na. I gave him a smile as he made his way towards me and opened his arms as I gladly reached for him and wrapped my arms around him as hugged me back and kissed my head. 

"How was it?" He asked still hugging me. "I'm sorry natagalan ako.. Tanner's a mess. I feel bad.." I replied and Tristan sighed and hugged me tighter. "I was already debating whether I should follow you there or not." He joked and chuckled and I smiled even though he can't see my face. 

"But please, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault. Things happen. What's not meant for each other won't really happen." He added and pulled away to stare into my eyes as he placed his hand on my cheek. 

"Where's Theo?" I asked changing the topic and looked around. "Already sleeping. Let's go? Baka magising pa yun pinabantayan ko na muna kay Marian because I wanted to wait for you." He replied and intertwined our fingers together. I nodded and we made our way up to our room. 

Theo will be sleeping with us as long as he wants to and yan din ang gusto ni Tristan. Halos ayaw nya na mawala si Theo sa paningin nya. He cooks for us, from breakfast to dinner. Yes, hindi pa sya bumabalik sa trabaho kahit anong kombinse ko. 

"Good evening, Ma'am! Sir, maiwan ko na po kayo." Bati at paalam ni Marian ng makapasok kami sa kwarto halatang inaantok na din. I thanked her as Tristan closed the door. I walked towards the bed and gave Theo a kiss slowly making sure not to wake him. 

"He's adorable, Shan..." Tristan whispered as I felt him wrap his arms on my waist and I leaned back as we looked at our son. "Thank you for giving me Theo.. Sometimes I still can't believe it, that I have such a wonderful son." He added and pecked a kiss on the side of my face. 

This right here, just feels so right.. 

"Tristan, let's go. May mga tao na daw sa venue." I called out Tristan as I carried Theo. It's his birthday already.

He deserves this celebration so much and I thank God for giving my son another year. He saved my son and I just couldn't thank him enough. 

"Come to papa, Theo. You're too heavy already for mama to carry." Tristan said as he took Theo from me. Kakatapos lang namin mag bihis tatlo and we're off to the venue now. 

"You okay baby?" Tristan asked when we got inside the car. 

"I am nervous. So damn nervous, Tristan.. Ngayon ko lang makikita uli ang parents mo. I don't know what to expect. Will they hate me? Tanggap kaya nila si Theo? Ang dami kong worries!" I replied as I looked at him. 

I am not nervous about Theo's birthday but the fact that his parents are going to be there is making me nervous!

He started driving with Theo and Marian at the back, nasa car seat si Theo. 

"They don't hate you. You should really relax. Kung alam mo lang kung gaano sila ka excited to see you and meet Theo." Tristan replied calming while looking at the road. I took a deep sigh and closed my eyes to calm myself.
