A Not So Friendly Introduction

------Xìnyì POV------

The teacher walks into the class. "Hello students.... now on short notice we have another new student... she is staying permanently though!" Everyone claps. I done a short nervous clap. "Callie would you like to introduce yourself?" Callie stood up and walked to the front. I was made fun of, Callie had a little bit of a Khmer accent, she would get teased as well! I take a breath to calm myself. "Hi, I'm Callie, I go by a few rules.... if your nice i'll be nice back but if your a annoying person go bother someone else cause I won't deal with it. Any questions?...... no ok thank you." She done a small bow before exiting the small stage area. The teacher couldn't help but have her jaw hanging loose. You could tell she was shocked at Callie's confidence. I let out a small smile. Moments later I remember that she has to sit with my two bullies. 

------Callie's POV------

I take a seat next to a blonde girl and a girl with light pink hair. "Ok class. Callie welcome to science I am Dr Brown." "H-Hi" I reply... I already done the introduction why is he addressing me again. "Today we will learn about biology" he took the lid off a whiteboard marker and started writing on the board, he pushed so hard the marker squeaked. "Copy the sentence on the whiteboard in your science books." I read the what was on the whiteboard. It said "your body has 12 systems. There are four blood groups, Your brain is highly active at night just like day!, people can breath under water if they get rid of their lungs" I mindlessly copied this down into my book then realised the last one I wrote. "Now class, tell me which one is false." My hand shoots up in the air like a rocket blasting off. "yes Callie." "The breathing underwater one!" I yell. "Coooorrect!... can you tell me why this is impossible?" I let out a smile. "Because the human body needs at least one lung to be able to live, if you got rid of both you couldn't breath, and yes you would be able to be underwater and not have to breath, but you would die in a matter of seconds." I state.  "Very descriptive Callie, great!" Dr Brown walks over to his laptop on his small desk. "Ok everyone I have set some class work for you, so please take out your laptops and complete it, you may whisper, or listen to very low music." with that I took out my laptop. I see Xìnyì starring at me. I smile and give her a small effortless wave. She smiles back and borrows a computer from the teacher. I open my laptop. The screen turned bright and I entered my password. I logged into my new school account and went into the google doc filled with information in it. All these questions seemed pretty easy and fun. Before I could start filling out my answers I hear a "pssst" I look over my laptop screen. "Hey new girl that was a pretty rad speech you gave up there." One of the girls with light pink her mentions. "Thanks." The blonde girl with hot pink eyes then says "I'm Nia, nice to meet you Caaallliee" I smile forcefully. "And i'm Lilly" the girl with the light pink hair joins in. I do an awkward smile and start to continue on with my work. "Hey you should totally sit with us!" Nia says slightly reaching her hand to my side of the table. "No thanks I already sit with someone your ok to join us though." I reply wanting to get back to my work. Lilly gave a look of disgust to Nia and we were silent for the rest of the period. 

~Time skip - Recess now~

------Xìnyì POV------

"Hey Callie?" She looks at me. "Yeah?" "Are those cat ears fake or are you a Neko girl?" She let a small chuckle slip. "My mom was a Neko girl, she passed it on to me, but my brother doesn't have any like my dad." I nod my head. "Are they really sensitive?" I ask analysing them. Another chuckle slipped. "Yes, you wouldn't believe how sensitive they are!" she replies. I smile. Me and Callie came to a holt. Lilly and Nia were standing in front of us in shock. "Her?! You sit with her?!" I start to step back a little. Callie rests her hand on my shoulder and pushes me back by her side. "yes she is_is there a problem?" Nia crinkles her eyebrows together and stomps off forcing Lilly to do so with her.
