I look back to see me a good few meters from the ground. My eyes widen as I began to float up towards my house. In a matter of minutes, I levitated up all the way to the opening kitchen window, before I was tossed to the floor with a thud.
"Ow..." I mumbled, opening one eye.
Eventually, Stella walked out of Leon's room, and I felt my heart flutter a little. Stella looked as beautiful as the day I last saw her. Her long lavender hair tied back in a ponytail, and she wore a simple set of armor — the same set she had on last time I was in control— instead of the black dress she wore all those years ago.
She stopped for a minute and huffed out a short sigh. She sounded stressed. My heart stopped fluttering, and I frowned.
"Rain, don't you think you've knocked on Death's door enough for a lifetime." The witch asked concerned. Stella sounds tired in more ways then just not getting enough sleep. "What are you doing here?"
I quickly got up off the ground, and folded my arms behind my back and cleared my throat. "H—How did you know it was me, and not 303?" I ask.
She shrugged, and sat on the couch. "Your aura? Entity's is much different from yours. It's way too dark to be you y'know."
I shrug, and sat down next to her. "And the first question, it's a long story. But I had to see you both."
We sat there in silence. Quite an awkward silence. It's weird. It's never been this weird between the two of us. But... it makes sense. I share a body with this village's worst enemy.
Eventually, she must have seen my hand because Stella pick it up and I jolt in pain.
"Ow!" I hiss, trying to pull it away, but she didn't let go. She examined my wrist for a few seconds when she saw the band and sighed, and carefully put my hand down on the couch.
"So that's why you fell." I look at her, but her eyes don't meet mine.
"Can you cut it off or something?" I ask, but she reluctantly shook her head, and sighed.
"It's protected with a magic stronger than the Enderwatchers themselves. I can't..." She said somberly, her hand touching mine.
I nod. "So that's why they're prohibited. It's could be used like a parasite in some ways if it falls into the wrong hands."
"Well that's why it's banned in 4/5ths of the Nether, the whole dimension of the End, and at least three quarters of the Overworld." Stella continued, leaning onto my shoulder, closing her eyes. I rest my head on hers and weakly open my hand, to which she took.
"So... what do you have to do to get the band off?" She asked, opening one eye.
I raise a brow. "How did you know?" She shrugged.
"Well no chance Entity was gonna send you here because you missed all of us." The Enchantress inferred, to which she was correct. I sigh, and rest my head on the back of the couch.
"... Entity no longer has a spy he trusts enough to wander past the gates of Frostbourne. He threatened that if I don't get enough information he'll kill me I guess."
Stella's head shot up, and she turned to me. "What? And when were you going to tell me about this!"
I pause, looking at the ground. She sighed, and turned away from me. Even through her annoyance, I knew she was just worried. I look at the ground.
"I didn't plan to get you or Leon involved with this. I don't want either of you to get hurt!—" I began before she looked back at me.
"Rain, I can protect myself, and I have been for four years now. I don't need you to worry about me anymore!" She snapped, much to my shock. I think it even surprised her. We stayed silent for a minute.
