(Stella's POV:)

About a three weeks has passed since Entity tried to poison Ser Patrick, and so far, a lot has changed. First off, Lyra became an official enlistee of the Frostbourne military, yet turned down a position as a council member. It's good knowing she's officially our side now, however there are a few people who still don't trust her yet. But to help, Daryll has been staying quite close to her, just in case anyone has anything unkind to say about her. Second, I don't think Frostbourne has been this prepared to fight since the attack at the far plains. Ships were being built in insane timings, several different types of iron golems were being made, some stronger than others, and we got waves of new recruits- for both combat, and in the medical field- in a matter of days. This place was battle ready.

Well, right now, I was on my way to take Leon to the park since- at the moment- I had some free time that I was able to spend with my little boy. I found a nice park bench that I could sit on, and watch as my baby plays around the playground even with some of the other kids that stopped by.

"Mommy! Mommy! Look what I can do!" Leon shouted towards me, trying to get my attention.

I look up at my boy, and smile, "I'm watching, sweetheart! What can you do?" I ask.

He smiled, and started spinning around on the merry-go-round at quite a faster pace. "Be careful hunny! Don't get yourself hurt now!" I shout back, chuckling a little. He looked so happy to be outside, and at the park too. I wish I would be able to take him here every day.

Out of nowhere, I hear some shuffling behind the trees. My head snaps around, and I get up to go investigate. "Friend or foe, c'mon out, show yourself." I say, creating an arcane blade in my hand. All of a sudden, I see a familiar face pop out of the bush.

"Stella?" Ceris said, tilting her head. She was wearing the outfit she normally wore back at the cottage, which was an armored pirate-style t-shirt, fingerless gloves, a black, knee-length skirt, boots which reached her shin, and a dark cloak.

"Mom?" I ask, easing up a little, walking up to the bush, and helping her out. "What are you doing in Frostbourne?"

Ceris smiled, "Is it wrong to want to see my little girl again? Plus, you never visited!"

"Sorry, I've been busy with other things!" I say, before giving her a big hug. "I missed you mom."

"I missed you too sweetheart." She said in response, hugging me back.

As we hug, I could hear Leon looking through the bushes for me, and that's when it hit me, that I had never told my mother that Rain and I adopted a son. Oh no.

"Mommy? Mommy! There you are!" Leon said, hugging my leg. Ceris, having heard all of this, jolted away, and looked at the five year old who had attached himself to my leg.

I turned around, and hugged Leon, "Hi honey. I'm sorry for just leaving. But, I have someone who I want you to meet!" I say, trying to keep the worry out of my voice.

He looks at Ceris, and tilts his head, "Who is that mommy?" He asked me. I smile, looking back at my mom, who seemed to be piecing it together.

"Leon, this is mommy's mommy! Your grandma" I answer, and turn to face Ceris, "Mom, this is my son."

My little boy smiled, and wandered up to Ceris, and wrapped his little arms around her. She did the same, but still a little shocked. He pulled away, and smiled at her, "Hi grwandma!"

She smiled, stood up, and ruffled his hair, "Hello my little grandson, it is wonderful to finally meet you! I've heard so much about you." Ceris said, looking at me while saying the last sentence.
