(303's POV:)
I felt Stella stomped on my foot with all her force, and saw her run off into the crowd. I hiss as I felt the sharp pain. I teleported myself behind a tree- to get away from the confused crowd that had witnessed me kiss her- and started almost shouting curse words to myself.
Or... what I thought was myself.
Serves you right for both harassing and assaulting her. Rain's thought played in my head. I practically heard the hatred coming off of his words.
"Shut up, boy." I hiss out loud, still hopping. "I don't have the energy to deal with your annoying thoughts right now."
So keep up the talking and annoy the rest of your energy away until you give me back my body and get shot with an arrow?! Okay! He thought back.
I groan and mutter, "Get the dragon tamer I said. It'll be the easiest way to victory I said."
Well that was extremely stupid of you to think that! Did you really think all those arguments I got into with Ser Patrick were because I was easier to deal with? He thought rather proudly.
"That's it!" I shout, summoning a sword, and swiftly stab his body. Right though the body's trachea. Rain went silent, and I could hear him start coughing profusely. A smirk appears on my face, and I snap my sword away, along with cleaning the blood off my suit.
I can quickly regenerate his body on the physical scale, up to the point there is little to no marking left. I am even able to regenerate the effects of potions, like poison, or potions of slowness, and weakness. As long as I am in this form, very little can even leave a permanent mark! Let alone kill me!
However, Rain on the other hand, can't. So, he has to slowly regenerate over about a few hours to a few days at a time, depending on how bad I hurt him. Sadly in my case, there is no way to kill or leave any lingering effects on someone that is kind of in your mind. Believe me, if there was, Rain would be long dead.
"That will shut you up." I mutter. Stabbing that kid was always a quick and easy way to shut him up. "Maybe next time you'll think twice before you think anything negative about me."
Just then, people started gathering towards the tables which were set up near the market portion of the plaza. I smirk, knowing that the speeches were going to be spoken soon. I begin to straighten up my appearance before joining the crowd.
"Let's get this show on the road." I say to myself before looking for Agent L so that I can assess her mission.
~
"There you are." Agent L said respectfully, sitting in the chair next to me. She had arrived a bit late, which I thought was a little weird considering she is usually quite punctual. Maybe she had just put the poison in his drink?
"Ah, good. You shown up. And here I thought you bailed on your mission." I whisper to her, considering there were people around us.
Next to us, a man pulled up a chair and sat down next to us. The man had darker skin, brown hair, and wore a suit. I didn't pay him much mind until Agent L glanced over at him, before quickly looking away once she noticed I saw.
"Why did you look at him?" I whispered to her, quite confused.
"To be aware of the people around me. Now stop whispering. It looks suspicious." She answered back, keeping her respectful tone with me.
I roll my eyes, and was about to say something when the man next to us said, "You know. You are a terrible whisperer sir."
My eye began to twitch a little bit, "Why you little-" But before I could finish what I was saying to him, Lyra griped my upper arm and quickly said, "I apologize for my- um- fiancé! Yeah. C'mon honey. Let's just leave the nice man be." The agent then gave me a quick peck on the lips to make our little staged relationship seem legitimate.
