Our Last Meeting /Xingqiu x Chongyun Angst Fluff

Chapter 1

Third person Pov:

Chongyun stands in a familiar scenery, green grass, blue sky, birds and mountains roam the place, it was no surprise that someone was there with him except the only problem was... There was only a stone with flowers placed on top. It was a grave, Xingqiu's grave to be more specific. It's been a year since the passing of  Xingqiu and yet. It still affects him, it pains him so much knowing he can't touch, hug, nor talk to Xingqiu anymore, the only thing he had left of him was his books, he would read them over and over again just so he could pretend that Xingqiu was reading it beside him. He even practiced his excorsism just so the incident wouldn't happen again, he also started to eat spicy food because it reminded him of his past time where Xingqiu would try and feed him the spicy food, now going back at it he regrets not eating the food since he wanted to be fed by Xingqiu again. Memories of them came flooding his head as his eyes get teary remembering every moment he spent with his dear friend. He stands up with a flower in hand, a silk flower to be exact, it was Xingqiu's favorite flower. He slowly got up eyes still teary as he placed the flowers on Xingqiu's grave, his late lover's grave. He broke down once again as he can't bear the pain of not telling him his feelings but now... It was too late

Chongyun's Pov:

It's been a year since he died... I still can't let go of the fact he's gone because of me... Because of a stupid spirit that I summoned, I still remember the face he made when he was dying, I remember it so clearly since he looked like he was at peace, I've always wondered how he would look so peaceful while  I was mourning right next to him holding his hand and having his head to my chest telling him 'I'm sorry' s and 'please don't leave me' s, he only smiled at me and said 'don't worry Chongyun... Even tho I never got to fully enjoy my time here with you I'll always look after you okay after I'm gone okay?' I still remember the feeling of tears flooding my eyes, but before I even got to say I love you he's was already fading... I was so desperate to feel him in my arms again that I desperately tried to grab at least a part of him thinking that if I get a piece of him I can at least put him together, it was a pitiful attempt to get him back and I knew that, I never got to tell him I love him before he disappeared, all that was left of him was his vision it was black like there was nothing but a void there, it didn't have its usual blue glow. and with that I knew he was gone I didn't even realise I was crying till I touched my face since I felt something flowing from my eyes, I scrambled to get his vision hugging to close since it was the closest thing I get to hugging Xingqiu again,

I snapped back to reality with his vision still in my hands, I never let it go after what happened, It never felt weird hugging it since it  felt  comforting.
I got up from Xingqiu's grave and looked up at the sky, it was dark out. I stayed here longer than I thought I would. I got up bid my goodbyes and left, I headed back to liyue and at Wanmin Restaurant, xiangling looked at me worried about the state I'm in, I could see the worry in her eyes even tho she tried to cheer me up "you know Chongyun, Xingqiu doesn't  like it when you stay up late crying on his grave" she said and I replied with "and what are you gonna do about it? You aren't the one that sees ghosts anyways" she just sighed and asked what I wanted to eat since she knew I wouldn't budge, I was peacefully eating my food until I felt hands cover my face "guess whooo~!" I sighed and said "Hu tao" she giggled and said "correct!" I mumbled asking "what do you want? I have to get going" she must've not heard me since she is just smiling  looking somewhere, I got curious so I decided to see where she was looking and there was... Nothing, I just grumbled in response and after hu tao heard that she bursted into laughter, laughing at my pissed off face. After she was done laughing she was out of breath and kept huffing and puffing with little laughter coming out but she eventually calmed down she just sighed and said "woah..." I asked what she was so surprised about and that's where she pointed at some tables that were I front of us I saw a head peek out of the window but it looked like it got scared and hid but I did catch a little glimpse of it, didn't pay much attention to it tho. after I finished I left the restaurant with Hu tao trailing behind me, she was telling me something about ghosts but i wasn't listening since i was wondering about the head that peeked out from the window that was...i was snapped out of my thoughts with Hu tao shouting my name
"-Yun"
"-ngyun"
"CHONGYUN!"
I was startled for a moment but eventually calmed down I asked what she wanted and she said "were you even listening to what I said?" I looked at her straight in the eyes and said "no" she pretended to be hurt as she put her hand to her chest and said *gasp* "how could you do this to me, after everything I've done for you! You just left me here" I wasn't having any of it right now so I just left her there talking to herself.

I was walking to wangshu inn for the night since I was far away from home

I was laying in bed eyes focused on the ceiling still thinking about what happened earlier I mean, I shouldn't worry about this now since it's always happened before but something felt off about it

I didn't pay too much attention to it and fell asleep...
