Our Last Meeting /Xingqiu x Chongyun Angst Fluff

Chapter 6

Chongyun's pov:

I woke up and my body shot up quickly, I turned to the side to see Xingqiu asleep on one of the chairs. I smiled at the sight so I got up and went towards him and shook him to wake him up.

He finally woke up after I tried shaking him awake for the past 5 minutes when he woke up he smiled and hugged me "you're okay!" he shouted, I only smiled and replied with "ofcourse I am, I would never leave you y'know"

"sorry to interrupt this quality time with each other but I just wanted to say that he's free to go" I turned to my side to see who it was, I noticed he had green hair, glasses and he had a white sneak, Xingqiu and I looked at each other confused on who he is "ah, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Baizhu, I am the owner of the pharmacy your currently in" oh, so his name is Baizhu huh? Interesting.

We bid our goodbyes as we left his pharmacy and walked around Liyue once again.

We stopped at a bridge that was right above the water to watch the sunset and to just casually talk, we were talking about random stuff but that eventually lead us to talking about excorsism and that reminded me about the job I still had to do.

I asked him if he wanted to help since the home owner said that the spirit had a very strong emotion of hatred and betrayal so it would take me another hour just to finish this one particular command, to my surprise he agreed, I honestly thought he wouldn't since he said he was working on a new book, he also asked me when it was, I told him that it was a few months before the Lantern rite, he nodded and looked back at the scenery.

We were enjoying this little moment of silence since we had to get back soon, and after watching the sunset we decided to head back home since it was already dark out, we said goodbye to each other and we went to different directions.

I woke up to the feeling of someone shaking me awake, I open my eyes to see hu tao above me, I jolted up and I ended up smashing our heads together "ow! What the hell Chongyun!" I heard Hu tao say as she felt to the floor with a thud "no no no, don't 'what the hell Chongyun!' me! What are you doing in my room!?"
I shouted back "xiangling wanted me to call you since she said we should hang out more often" she said while getting up using the end of the bed for support "fine, but it won't make us get along" I said as I swung both my legs to the side of the bed to get up "yea yea whatever you say icy" she went to the door and finally left, giving me time to get dressed.

After I got dressed I headed out for the door, and I see Hu tao just leaning on the frame of the door "finally, you took forever!" she shouted "I only took a few minutes!" I shouted back at her "whatever, let's just get going" I sighed and nodded.

We were walking right next to eachother, none of us talked since we were still pissed with one another, so when we met xiangling at the outside of the inn she was met with a grumpy Chongyun and a smirking hu tao, she asked what was wrong and Hu tao responded with "well ice brain over here finally woke up after I tried shaking him awake for the past 5 minutes! And instead of being thankful he just shouted at me!" she shouted "what!? You literally broke into my room just so we can 'hang out' ofcourse I'll be mad! You just broke in to my room!" we were shouting at each other for the past 30 minutes or so because we both felt something hit the back of our necks, we turned to look at xiangling that was standing at the front of the inn and we saw her holding up a stick, how did she even get that stick in the first place? Xiangling sighed and said "finally, you guys are done, you guys spent almost half of the day throwing insults at each other and none of you heard me saying stop so I had to take it further" she said holding up the stick once again.

We were walking around Liyue since we didn't know what to do anymore, xiangling said she had a planner before this all happened but she forgot about it so now we were just talking having a stroll around Liyue for a while when Hu tao kept smirking at something, xiangling and I kept asking her why she was smiling but she just kept saying "eh I just saw the ghost of an old customer, no big deal" so we didn't pay that much attention to it.

We eventually got tired and hungry so we went back to wanmin restaurant, we ordered the same food we always eat and just ate, xiangling and I were just eating while Hu tao was making jokes, I busted out laughing from one of her jokes while I was eating, so that means I choked on my food. Xiangling and Hu tao looked at me in disbelief, I looked at them confused and asked why they were looking at me like that and Xiangling responded with "ah, it's just that ever since Xingqiu passed... You haven't been smiling that much..." oh... Yea I forgot... Xingqiu's gone...

When xiangling noticed me frown she immediately started apologizing, I said that it was fine and I excused myself to go back to the inn, they just sighed and said fine.

I was walking back to the inn and that reminded me of my dream, I was walking around with someone but I couldn't see their face properly because their face was covered with a black scribble on their face, but before I could even think about it any further I hit the door with my face, I held my forehead since it hurt so much, but thank the archons I'm already at my room so I could just sleep the pain away.

I got in my bed and stared at the window for the next 3 minutes, I must've been Hella tired since I started seeing a little blue glow but before I could even figure out what it is I was already asleep...
