Our Last Meeting /Xingqiu x Chongyun Angst Fluff

Chapter 10

Chongyun's pov:

I was pacing around the pharmacy getting anxious and biting my thumb, it was a habit I developed when I was anxious or nervous, as I was thinking of the worst scenarios ever I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone say my name "Chongyun?" I turned my face to the source of the voice to see Baizhu holding his glasses and a clipboard "yes?" I replied "would you like to hear the bad news or the good news first?" "t-the good news first please..." I said "good news is he's fine and he's awake reading a book right now" I sighed in relief and asked "what about the bad news?" "the bad news is, he's severely wounded and he can't stand up without help. which means he'll be using crutches for now" he says, my little smile immediately turned into a frown, he must've noticed it since he told me I could visit him now. That managed to lift up my mood a little as I walked towards Xingqiu, he was reading a book while he was sitting up, he noticed me walking towards him since he smiled directly at me, I rushed towards him before giving him a tight hug "Xingqiu! Your okay!" I practically screamed "of course I'm okay, I wouldn't leave you alone here in the first place remember?" he said oh right, our promise to each other was to be there whenever the other needed help or was feeling lonely and that we would never leave each other behind, "Baizhu said that I could leave now, but I have to wear crutches tho, but I don't have any" he said, and I just replied "I know" before carrying him bridal style again "can you stop doing that?" he says "stop doing what?" "randomly picking me up in a bridal style" but I just chuckled and said "never" he just sighed and continued to read his book, I thanked Baizhu and went outside the pharmacy.

We headed outside to watch the sunset since we didn't know what else to do now but we found a secured area with no one else in the property except for the two of us, sitting in comfortable silence the strong breeze was the only thing that made a sound, that was until Xingqiu broke it to ask a question "hey, yunyun?" I almost chocked on my spot right there "h-huh? Where did you get that nickname?" I said my face being all red "nowhere, anyways I wanted to ask you something" "o-okay? W-what is it?" I was struggling forming a sentence since the only thing occupying my head at the moment was the nickname "please dance with me yunyun" he said "h-huh!? I can't! Your still injured!" i said "please? I wanna dance with you right now" he says "b-but!-" "pleaseeee?" I sighed and agreed.

I sat us both down facing each other before I got up and extended a hand for Xingqiu to hold on to, after he held my hand he got up slowly. It was only a matter of time when he fully got up that was until he lost his balance and almost fell.

But luckily I managed to grab his waist and supported his head using my other arm "hold onto my neck" I said, he did what he was told to do and we just stood there for a few minutes, not bothering to move yet, that was until Xingqiu moved forward and almost stumbled again, I tightened my grip on his waist and held his hand using mine, and after that we started to move.

It was only a matter of time when we were dancing, it was only a few minutes but it felt like hours, our bodies moving in sync, Xingqiu was looking down looking at the way our feet moved with each other, I just stared at him, the way the sunset's glow hit his navy blue hair and the way the glow hit his gold like colored eyes, to say I like him was an understatement, I loved him.

We were slowly dancing, taking our sweet time so Xingqiu wouldn't hurt himself any further, that was until i tripped on a tree branch, causing both of us to fall backwards. I fell on my butt while Xingqiu tripped on my feet and Landon on top of me, my face flushed red as Xingqiu only chuckled and layed down "wanna watch the stars with me now?" he asks "yea sure" I said, he layed down next to me and faced the sky, I was watching the stars with Xingqiu for a couple of minutes when my vision started going black and my head started to hurt, I looked around trying to see if my vision can pick up something close, I looked at Xingqiu to see that he was fading, I tried getting up to touch him nut I was paralyzed the last thing I hard was someone calling my name before my vision went completely black...

"HELLOOO EARTH TO CHONGYUN!" I snapped out of my thoughts when I hard my name being called, I looked to my side to see bennett, looking at me with a worried expression "are you okay? I've been calling your name for the past 15 minutes now" 15 minutes? That's how long I've been out of it? "yea I'm fine, I was just thinking of something" I said "oh okay, what were you thinking about?" that was when it hit me, I don't remember what I was daydreaming about "I... I don't remember..." I said with a sad tone "huh? How can you not remember what you were daydreaming about?" "I'm not sure..." I was still thinking about what happened and trying to remember what I was daydreaming about but I just brushed it off "okay, let's change the topic" bennett said "razor and I were planning on going on adventure outside, do you want to join us?" he asked, both of them looked at me waiting for my response, I needed to clear my head at the moment so I just nodded, I mean nothing bad's gonna happen when we're just going on adventure right?

Xiangling pov:

We were going back to where we found the gate to see if it was still closed. But to our surprise it was opened and there were guards on each side, there was also a kid on the side of the bridge feeding the birds, Hu tao must've noticed I had my eye of the birds since she said "are you thinking of cooking those birds?" she says "I- uh no!" I replied "you're lying" she said "okay fine, I am" she just chuckled when I said that "why are you laughing?" "can you really think of anything else other than food?" I just looked at her while giving her a 'are you stupid?' look, she just shrugged at me and we walked towards the gate, we managed to get in because the guards looked like they didn't care who got in or out. So we easily got in without causing any suspicions.

We explored the town and we met someone named Barbara, she told us we were in the favonius cathedral in mondstatd, we asked her if she could show us around since we were new, she agreed and we started to walk outside.
