"How are we doing Agent 13?"
"Listen, it's Stark. I figured it out. I'm no longer your agent. I figured out where I belong. It's Carrington STARK."
One of Nick's agents came around and put the handcuffs on Carrington.
"What the hell are you doing here Fury?" She huffed.
"You were turned in. You're not being charged with anything, this time. I told the law I would figure it out. You were just upset and you ran off."
She glared at him. The man placing the handcuffs on her placed a collar around her neck.
"What the fuck is this?" she barked.
"It's so you can't use your powers," Fury sighed.
They knocked her down on her knees. Her head hung low. How could Bucky turn her in? Why would he do this?
"Who turned me in Fury?"
"Lover boy over here did," Fury said pointing.
Bucky walked out behind Fury.
"Bu- Why?" Her eyes starting to water.
Bucky wouldn't talk. He just stood there, watching them manhandle Carrington. Two of the agents grabbed her arms and lifted her up. As they were dragging Carrington past Bucky she looked at him.
"How could you?"
He smiled, that smile not being his. She stopped and stared, something wasn't right. As she went to say something, she was taken off and thrown into the back of the car.
Bucky opened his eyes, he sat up. Looking around, he was in front of the compound.
"Doll? Where are you?" he asked.
Confused, he got up and walked inside. Walking in, no one said anything to him. No one even turned their head in his direction.
"Has anyone seen Carrington?" Bucky asked.
Everyone glared at him. He was still confused; walking over to the kitchen to see Tony standing there talking to Steve.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"What the hell is your problem, Barnes?" Tony growled.
"Woah, what do you mean?"
"Don't play dumb, you turned Carrington in."
"I-I didn't do anything. I woke up and I was in the middle of the compound's yard. I figured Carrington would be in here."
"So you don't know what's going on Buck?" Steve asked.
"N-No. Where is she?"
"She was taken back by SHIELD. They found her, said they got a call from you. Saying where you guys were and everything."
"Steve I didn't turn her in, I swear. I wouldn't do that. Please you have to believe me."
"We'll figure it out buddy, don't worry."
Carrington was looking around the area. Sitting down in the corner of the room. She looked up and saw Bucky and Steve standing there.
"What the hell do you want?" She mumbled.
"I wanted to come see you," he sighed.
"Why?" She barked, "You locked me in here!"
"I didn't do it doll. There's no way I could have."
"Stop lying to me! Fury said you did it. How could you?"
She got up and walked over to the glass. Tears starting to form at the side of her eyes. His heart hurt, Steve placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Doll, I swear it wasn't me. I-I woke up in the compound's front lawn."
"Whatever," she sighed.
She went and sat back down in the corner.
"Carrington please, you have to believe me."
"If you didn't do it then who did?"
"We don't know, but we'll figure it out. He's not lying," Steve said.
"Just figure a way to get me the hell out of here, and we'll figure it out." Carrington said.
"I love you, doll."
"I love you too, Bucky."
They walked away. Carrington closed her eyes, trying to sleep. A few of the guards came in and gave her a couple of blankets and her dinner for the night. Her mind racing; if it wasn't Bucky, then who was it?
A sound of clapping woke her up. Her eyes opening quick and she looked up. It was Bucky and Steve again.
"I-I thought you guys left?"
They laughed. She was confused.
"He didn't turn you in love," Steve laughed.
Carrington got up, looking at Bucky and Steve. She walked right over to the glass; face to face with both of the men.
"Bucky nor Steve call me love. Who are you?"
A quick light of green appeared, Bucky and Steve were gone. As she looked back up; Loki was standing there.
"Surprise," he smiled.
