Liam knocked on Will's door.

The first thing he thought about doing after he left the cafe, after he left Chelsea sitting alone and having absolutely no idea what was wrong, was to come to Will's house. The first thing he thought of doing was to tell Will about what he had just discovered.

Why didn't Liam think hard enough? Why didn't he think that there was a possibility of Chelsea's father visiting?

When Liam arrived at Will's house, he parked his car and turned off the engine. When his fingers touched the door handle to open the door, he froze. Something was wrong.

Liam stayed silent and frozen on the spot for a few seconds. He then glanced at Will's door, contemplating on what he should do in the next couple of seconds. Liam then released the door handle and turned his car engine on again.

Something inside him was telling him not to tell anyone about what he just discovered, but he didn't know why. He wanted to tell someone, Will especially, but his gut told him not to.

He didn't know why he felt that way, but he followed his gut feeling. So, Liam drove home and kept the information to himself.

His phone rang and he saw that Chelsea was calling him. Liam contemplated for a few seconds but decided to answer the call.

"Hey, are you okay? Why'd you leave so suddenly?" Chelsea's voice was heard through the phone.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just… I just don't feel good so I'm just going to rest a bit," Liam said.

"Oh, okay. Well, I hope you feel better."

"Thanks," Liam said quickly before hanging up.

What was he going to do now? What was his next plan?

Soon enough, he reached his house. Liam parked his car inside his garage before turning the engine off. He put his hands on his face and rested his forehead against the steering wheel.

"There must be a reason… why'd you kill her?" Liam whispered to himself.

Liam pulled his face away from his hands and rested his head against the car seat. He didn't want to tell Diaz about this. Because Liam cares for Chelsea and he knows how much she loves their father. He didn't want Diaz to kill their father, not yet.

Besides, what if there was more to the story? What if his father was forced to kill Eloise? What if he was threatened? What if he wasn't a crazy psychopath? Why did Mason Miller murdered Eloise Diaz?

The brunette let out a sigh as he thought of a plan.

Liam wanted to talk to his father. There must be nothing wrong with talking to his father about what he did and why he did it.

Liam could defend himself, he knows how to fight as he learned it for years before he joined the gang. So if his father is a crazy murderer, Liam could defend himself.

He needed to know why Mason killed Eloise. He just thinks it's the best thing to do.

It had been a couple of days ever since. Liam was still the only one who knew who X was. For some reason, his gut told him not to tell anyone. He followed his mother's advice, to always follow his gut.

And today was the day when Mason Miller would visit his daughter.

Liam had been waiting for this day. The brunette honestly doesn't know how to feel. But he had been focusing on his plan for the past couple of days. He has to figure out a way so that he can have some alone time with his father and interrogate him. He doesn't want to freak Chelsea out by telling her that their father killed someone.

It was 11 AM when Chelsea called Liam, an hour before Mason was supposed to arrive.

"Hey so you know how I got the day off so that I can spend time with you and dad today? Well apparently the cafe is more packed than usual so they need more employees," Chelsea said over the phone while Liam was brushing his teeth.

"Oh okay, well what are we going to do then?" Liam asked after he spat out the toothpaste into the sink.

"Well dad is coming over at around 12 and my break is around 12 so i guess we can quickly go home on my 30 minute break. And then I have to quickly get back to work while you both can spend time together for a couple of hours?" Chelsea suggested.

"Yeah, that's great," Liam responded.

Well, that just made this a whole lot easier for Liam. Now he doesn't have to make up a reason to get some alone with Mason.

"So I guess I'll pick you up right now and we can go to the cafe together?"
"Sounds good," Liam replied and closed the tap.

It didn't take long for Chelsea to arrive at Liam's house and the two of them went to Dave's place. As Chelsea said, the cafe was indeed packed. Liam never saw the cafe so packed before and was slightly disappointed when he saw that his usual spot was taken.

Liam ended up sitting outside at a table for two and ordered his usual mocha latte. His heart was beating faster than usual all morning and he knew exactly why.

He was going to meet his father after not seeing him for 18 years, that's enough time to cause Liam to forget how his father looks. And he also doesn't know what kind of person he is now. A lot can happen in 18 years.

Liam's most worried for Chelsea. Their father could be a crazy psychopath who enjoys killing people. Liam may be a paid killer himself but he never enjoys murdering people. He just needed the money. He's mostly worried that one day, Mason could hurt Chelsea. Who knows what he could do?

At last, Liam and Chelsea went back to Chelsea's house on her break time. Liam was unusually quiet during the whole ride but his sister noticed his nerves and put her hand on his to comfort her brother.

When they got to Chelsea's house, they saw him.

They saw Mason Miller standing by the front door.
