Because of their seating arrangement, Johanna is seated at the far end of the room in between her guy friends Richard and Eric.
The teacher started her discussion
During class there was a slight commotion with some of her classmates, but Johanna was engrossed with the discussion.
She looked at their direction but ignored what they were talking about. She brought back her attention to the discussion, because there would be a quiz after the discussion.
Later, her group is the one in-charge in cleaning the room after class. Unusually Paul was there, he seated himself at the far end of the room where all the cleaning materials were being kept.
Johanna noticed that Paul looked sad: he just sat there quiet and deep in thought.
She had the urged to talk to him but changed her mind. She just cleaned the class Johanna and her group mates finished cleaning she looked at Paul while walking out of the room.
“Goodbye Johanna, We’ll go ahead.” Arthur said walking outside.
She kept wondering why Paul acted that way. He really seemed sad. She thought of talking to him but changed her mind in the end. She doesn’t want him to think that she still likes him.
At home in her bedroom she lay in bed thinking about Paul. Memories of their childhood days keep coming back.
