Johanna had been trying to forget her feelings towards Paul since they graduated from elementary. A mere attraction turned into something she wants to ignore. She knew falling for the guy would bring heart ache and misery.

She decided to study in Willard High School since it was near her home. It is a large school nesting a lot of students with its spacious grounds and highly guarded facilities. The Teachers were very nice and impart a lot of their knowledge to their students. Her first two years at the school had been grate.  Jenny gained friends and memories worth keeping. Micah, Sunshine, Eric, Arthur, Richard, James, Robert are among her friends.  The weird part though is that even though she and Paul had never again been classmates she still got to see him. Those moments were just brief, they never talked but she sometimes' find herself looking at him even from a far. It was like the angels above were playing with her emotions. She's hooked with him; his eyes, lips, smile and voice makes her feel uneasy. Even from a far her eyes sometimes lingers and then finds him like a missile finding its target.

It was the first day of third year high school; all was being done the usual setting. Students are looking for their new assigned section. Johanna and her friends were still classmates. They were walking at the corridor looking for their next room assignment to meet their new subject teacher. When suddenly Johanna saw Paul walk by then was gone in a second. Her attention went back to her friends. They were laughing and talking about something.

After school she went home and gone directly to her room to change clothes to prepare her things for tomorrow.

Tired from school and cleaning she lay down in bed and slept for a few hours. When she woke up still feeling tired she then found herself thinking about Paul and what today's encounter meant. She knows she loves Paul but also knew that they would never be together. They were like cats and dogs when they were in elementary her being ugly and fat while he was thin like a stick. Not that their looks were the reason for their fights or misunderstandings. They just really never got along well enough to be friends. She knew to herself that she was not a snob in fact she have lots of friends no matter what their sex is, so why don't she and Paul be friends? That's the question she finds herself thinking a lot. Feeling the misery again she determinedly promised herself that this year she would not think and look at Paul again. It's time to move on. With that in mind she fell asleep once again.
