Chapter 3 

During Lunch break her friends talked to her and asked how she is doing knowing Paul would be their classmate for the whole school year. 

"I'm alright, don't worry about me guys, and I'm over him 100%" she cheerfully said and repeatedly said that in her mind to convince herself as well. 

They all look at her. They all noticed her discomfort about the issue so they just acted like they believe what she had said.  

"Enough about that let's talk about our weekend getaway where do you plan us to go?" Richard said 

"Let's go to the movies this time I don't feel like going to any beaches. Let's just look at the latest movies when were there." James told everyone 

"Is Greg going to join us?" Arthur asked 

"That's not an issue that needed to be discussed." Sunshine said her teasing voice evident to all of them. 

"Yeah we all know he would because his to protective of Johanna" Micah said 

"You believe that? Well I don't, I think he has a thing for Johanna." Arthur cut in 

"He does not; he treats me just like a younger sister, so stop thinking that way." Johanna said defending Greg. She had thought about that herself and thought about asking Greg about it, but she would never say that to her friends. 

She didn't have to ask him now anyway because she had met Melody his girlfriend. 

The bell rang and they all went to their next subject. 

The day ended and they all part ways. Johanna felt like walking so instead of riding a bus she walked her way to her home. While walking she noticed Greg's car past her by but stopped at the end of the curb. She saw him looking at her waiting for her to come near; she continued her walk. 

"Hi! Greg", Johanna greeted smiling when she stops beside his car. 

"Thought that was you, hop in I'll take you home." Greg said opening the car door from inside. 

"Thanks" She sat and put the seat belt. Greg started driving 

"We haven't talked since you started school again, so how was it?" Greg started the conversation while driving.  

"The whole gang is still my classmate so it's still fun and wait Paul is my classmate this year" Johanna smiled sarcastically when she told the part about Paul. 

"Oh! Is he now? Looks like you'll have a fun school year this time then." Greg said smiling he knows her attempt to forget about Paul. 

They both fell silent 

"The gang had decided to go to the movies this weekend, would you go with us?" Johanna said remembering what the gang had planned. 

"Yes, I'll go with you." Greg replied. 

"Tag along Melody if she's free"  

"Ok, I'll try." 

Greg pulled up at Johanna's house and opened the door for her. 

"Bye, thanks for the ride." Johanna bade Greg goodbye and went inside the house.
