3 months later, Juvia was 6 months into her pregnancy, she was still using her wheelchair, and she still lived with Gray.

For some reason, he would go on jobs more often. He would tell her it was so he could get money to handle them, her baby, their house, but Juvia knew the reason why.

One day, when she was around 4 1/2 months into her pregnancy, and Gray hadn't started going on jobs, she overheard him talking to Gajeel on how painful it was to see her holding a baby that wasn't his. She perfectly understood, but it hurt her the most when Gray would come from a 2 week long job and return to tell her that he was leaving on a new job the next morning. Gray had started going on jobs constantly a few days after he talked to Gajeel.

When Juvia was 5 months into her pregnancy, Gray left on a job that lasted one month. He told her he loved her, and that he would be back soon. But that was a lie. Little did she know that he was going to take so long.

When he was on that job, Juvia went to the doctor, and she found out two things: the gender. It was going to be a boy. And two, due to the ceiling collapsing on her, 4 months after her baby was born, he would die.

That day, when Juvia got home, she cried her heart out, called for Gray, screamed. The next few days she stayed inside, not really wanting to see anyone.

After the one month job, Team Natsu went to visit her. What broke her heart was that Gray didn't come.

Erza and Lucy knew, and somehow Carla and Wendy did too, but Natsu and Happy were too dense to realize, so Juvia just told them she went to an eating contest and was just bloated. but that she would go back to normal in no time.

Natsu and Lucy were dating, so of course, Juvia wasn't going to ruin their relationship by telling him she was holding his child.

A few days later, Gray and Natsu showed up at her house again. Gray just came up to her and to her he would be leaving to another job and left. Natsu, on the other hand, stayed with Juvia, while she cried her eyes out. After 1 month of not seeing her, he just said hello and left.
