Gray never came back ever since, and Juvia was now 8 months into her pregnancy. She missed him dearly, and she would constantly check outside, or when she would throw up, she wanted someone to comfort her and tell her that everything was going to be okay. And that person was Gray. She wanted company, someone who would kiss her forehead every time she would do something funny, and laugh with her, or wrap his strong arms around her every time she cooked, or cuddle with her before going to bed.

She lived alone ever since she was 5 months pregnant, with a few visits every now and then. But if she was honest, she didn't give a damn about anyone at the guild. She wanted to see Gray, but apparently, he didn't want to see her.

She now couldn't do anything about it. What was she gonna do anyway? Go up to him and beg him to come back to her? No. If Gray didn't want to see her, then so be it.

It was a cold afternoon, in the middle of October, and Juvia was alone in her house, with a blanket wrapped around her, laying on her couch. She had a cold and she was feeling really sick. "Gray-sama..." she whispered. Her nose was red, her eyes were swollen and she had bags underneath them. She closed her eyes and began to fall asleep.

Suddenly, the door slammed open. Juvia barely had any energy, but she managed to sit up and look at the door.

There stood Gray, covered in snow, a bag full of money, and a rose in his other hand.
