Gruvia ~ A Big Mistake (on hold while editing)

Alright so, in one month, it'll be one year since I started writing this story, so I thought I'd re read it and I noticed so many grammar errors so I decided to edit it and here are the results. So far I only have this chapter ready, since I'm currently working on two other stories: Silver Rose, a Gruvia AU that will be published somewhere around summer, and Forever and Always, a Fire Emblem fanfiction, which will be posted sometime this month.

Originally, I was planning on deleting this story, but I've gotten SO much support, so many votes and reads, I couldn't throw it all away, so I decided to remake it, this time, putting more love and dedication towards it.

Throughout this year I've improved my writing skills, so hopefully this story will be more enjoyable, since it is improved.

Oh and one last thing... I CHANGED THE PLOT OF THE STORY BECAUSE I DIDN'T LIKE IT AND I THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD SO DON'T KILL ME BYE

The atmosphere would probably have been uncomfortable for those who were watching, but Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Gajeel, and Levy were having the time of their lives. Recently, Lucy and Natsu got engaged, so they decided to throw an engagement party, and they invited most of  their closest friends. Everyone was either passed out on the floor, or they had already left. And despite the fact that it was 4 in the morning, the six young adults were partying like it was just midnight. Some of them were not fully drunk but there was one person who had drank way too much, and was probably going to need a few pain killers the next morning. "Guys!" Natsu yelled, grabbing the other's attention. "Let's play truth or dare!" The three girls looked at each other in excitement and they walked towards Natsu, Gajeel rolled his eyes and followed the three girls. Gray? He was too busy checking his phone to even care. "Oi! Ice brain! Get your dumb ass here now!" Gray groaned and stumbled to where the rest were. They decided to sit down where the couches were. Lucy, Natsu, and Gray sat on the couch, and Gajeel, Juvia and Levy sat on the floor. "So, who starts?" Lucy was the first to raise her hand.

"Me! Me!" Natsu chuckled and nodded at his fiance. "Hm... Let's see... Levy! Truth or dare?" The solid script mage thought for a second.

"Truth." Lucy gave her an evil grin.

"If you had to fuck anyone in this room, who would it be?" Levy's cheeks immediately started feeling hot.

"I...um...do I have to answer it?" Lucy eagerly nodded. "You will pay for this, I swear..." Lucy simply shrugged and laughed at the small woman's embarrassment. "But...I guess I'll have to go with...Gajeel." The last word was a mere whisper, causing Lucy to raise an eyebrow. Of course he had heard her clearly, but she just wanted to mess with her friend.

"What, Levy? I didn't hear you?" Lucy teased her.

"I said, Gajeel." She spoke louder this time, her face turning as red as it could get. Lucy giggled and wiggled her eyebrows at her in a teasing way.

"My turn," Levy spoke, followed by her clearing her throat. "Natsu-san, truth or dare?"

"Dare!" Levy bit her lip and stared at Lucy. I'm going to get my revenge now, she thought with a smirk. "I dare you to hold Lucy's boobs for one minute." Natsu shrugged and reached over to the blonde. Lucy, on the other hand, was blushing madly as she felt the dragon slayer grope her breasts.

The minute slowly crawled by, Natsu didn't pay much mind to it. Lucy covered her face the whole time, and the other four, including Gajeel, where laughing. "Alright, Gray, truth or dare?"

"This is dumb..." he mumbled lowly, making sure no one else hear him because he really didn't feel like starting a fight right there. "Dare." Natsu thought for a second.

"I dare you to put an-" He started speaking but Lucy stopped him. She leaned in and whispered something in his ear. His mouth made an 'O' and then he cleared his throat. "I dare you to kiss Juvia...on the lips." Gray immediately froze.

"Lucy can't tell you what to dare me to do, you have to come up with your own dare. I'm not doing that one."

"COME ON IDIOT, DON'T BE SUCH A PUSSY!" Gray glared at him.

"Fuck you, Natsu," the two men started fighting, and Lucy sighed. She turned to where the water mage was sitting and she noticed she had this blank expression on her face. And she was watching Gray and Natsu arguing.

In the end, Natsu and Gray stopped fighting, and Gray angrily stood up, Natsu giving a small victory dance behind him. Natsu had said something that convinced Gray to do it. Gray promised to himself he was never going to play truth or dare with them again. Or at least with Natsu. He cupped her cheeks and forcefully pulled her into a very, short, forced kiss. Juvia would probably be dying if that happened a few years ago, or if he really meant it. "Think nothing of this. This means absolutely nothing." Juvia nodded and sighed.

After that dare, Natsu decided to end the party. The aura was so...awkward, after what Gray did.

Gajeel and Levy were the first to leave. They said goodbye to everyone and left. Natsu had gone upstairs to plan something for his fiancé and himself, leaving Lucy, Gray, and Juvia alone downstairs. Juvia then excused herself to go outside, she said needed to go out and get some fresh air.

Lucy turned to Gray. "Can I speak to you for a moment. Please?" Gray nodded. "I need you to do me a favor. A really big one." Gray nodded once more, signaling for her to continue. "I need you to take Juvia with you. To your house I mean, and I need her to live with you for a little while." Gray blinked.

"What?"

"Gray..."

"She told you to say this? Didn't she?" Lucy shook her head.

"She was going to stay here, but there were some...change of plans."

"Why doesn't she stay with Gajeel and Levy?"

"Because they're moving, so they only have one bed for themselves. Everything else is either packed or she can't sleep there."

"What about Cana?"

"She's leaving to the beach with some old friends."

"What about the Strauss'?" Lucy sighed.

"They left on a trip last week." Gray remembered and slowly nodded.

"Well...I'm...uh...having some girls over...she can't come."

"Gray!" She yelled angrily. "Please, Juvia can't go back to where she lives."

"And why is that? Unless you give me a good reason I won't let her come." Lucy took a deep breath.

"Alright, but you have to promise you won't tell her I told you." Gray nodded. "Alright, so, I don't know if you've heard of her boyfriend..." Gray shook his head.

"I didn't know she had a boyfriend." Lucy nodded.

"Well, his name is Bora. And he, well, let's just say he isn't the best person ever. He abuses of her. He hits her, makes her things she doesn't want to do, for many nights he'd...rape her in her sleep. She'd wake up all covered in bruises, crying. She'd call me asking for help and...the thing is, she broke up with him recently. He went crazy. He told her that if he ever saw her again he would kill her. She ran out of the house and stayed here for a while...and now, we need her to stay somewhere else." As Gray listened to the whole story, his eyes were wide. She had never talked about her boyfriend with their friends. Or at least him.

"Fine...She can come." Lucy hugged him and thanked him. "I'll go get her." Gray said.

"Alright, I'll go upstairs and get her bag. Also, you should go to her house before you go to yours so she can get some more stuff. She only has a few things here and eventually she'll need more."

"Wouldn't her ex hear her though?"

"He's a heavy sleeper. You know once, Juvia wanted to be cute and all so she decided to play a small prank on him by drawing on his face, and when he woke up, damn, the redness on her cheek didn't leave her for like a week." Gray nodded.

"I'll just go get her."

"Alright, go." And right after she said that, Gray went to Juvia, and Lucy went upstairs to get her friend's bag.
